Ashwin Rawal takes 10th....... I also consider 9th after having more experiences (6 years back, i use to take 10th). one more thing is also noteworthy is that 'Taking up of Ancestaral profession' concept has almost died. what would you prefer? regards, utpal narayanshree <shree.narayan (AT) fluor (DOT) com> wrote: Dear Krithi and UtpalWhat approach Sanjay Ji and other noted scholars of present take .. can you throw some light on it.What has been your experience about it in various charts analysed?RegardsShree Narayan--- In vedic astrology, "Krithigaivasan Radhakrishnan" <krithi.hayagriva@g...> wrote:> || Haya Mukha Siddhi Rastu ||> > Dear Utpal and NarayanShree,> > Namaste !> > Utpal, your explanation really sounds good.> > I remember that in Prasna Tantra,Shri Neelakanta Daivagyna also > quotes 10th house for Father.(Ref Prasna Tantra translated by Holy > Shri B.V Raman)> > But in BPHS Maharishi Parasara clearly explains the life of > native's father by considering the lord of Dharma Bhava(9th House) > and its strength.> > These difference of opinion between the great divine scholors > always confuses the learners like us.May be gurus shall guide us more > in these situations.> > || Hare Rama Krishna ||> > Regards,> > krithi> > > > > > > > --- In vedic astrology, "utpal pathak" > <vedic_pathak> wrote:> > Dear Narayanshree,> > > > Though there is no difference of opinion for the house related to > > mother, there is some difference of opinion for the house of Father.> > > > Major astrological fraternity considers 9th house as house for > > Father, some astrologers, especially in northern part of India > takes > > 10th house.> > > > 10th house is 7th from mother's house and also the house of Karma > > (Profession). Guest guest
Dear Utpal Ji Thanks for info. I am just a beginner in study of astrology. So my opinion does not count. However, initially I would follow what present days astrologers are following and see how it fits into the scheme. Thanks for taking out time to clarify. Best regards Shree Narayan vedic astrology, Utpal Pathak <vedic_pathak> wrote: > Utpal Pathak <vedic_pathak> wrote:Thu, 14 Jul 2005 04:26:41 -0700 (PDT) > Utpal Pathak <vedic_pathak> > Re: [vedic astrology] Re: Bhavat Bhavam principle > vedic astrology > > Dear Narayan Shree, > > I think Sanjay ji takes 9th, Dr Raman use to consider 9th, K.N.Rao ji considers 9th.
