This book is a must in my opinion.

"Vedic Astrology: An Integrated Approach" by P.V.R. Narasimha Rao.

Dear Sir,

Try

http://beka1250.tripod.com/aquariangurlzastrology/id8.html

Apart from the sidereal versus tropical difference, vedic astrology

offers the dasha system where events can be amazingly timed with

accuracy and precision. Dasha systems are basically of two types:

based on the nakshatra(a 13 degree 20 min equal divisible of the

zodiac) and the rashi dasha system. At least 77 different dasha

systems exist most popular among which are probably Vimshottori,

Kalchakra and Jaimini's Chara and the Narayana dasha systems.

It takes a bit of time to learn, but is immensely rewarding and most

absorbing.

There is free vedic software available from the website

www.vedicastrologer.org which is like an interactive learing

experience for new people.(use default settings on it)

You will find stuff to learn on my site as well.

Regards

Dr Pandit
