I would like to know if there are any planetary combinations that will give a person premonitions about his own death. 2. Also I would like to know if the astrologers, since they are well sure of their own chart, make out the period when they will pass away? Because I always used to think when an astrologer makes a correct prediction about illness etc, 'he may be knowing his death time ' also!! Plz dont tell me "Who else but Brahma can decide ones period of death'. Since jyotisha can indicate everything,I believe it can indicate death also. What I have learnt so far is Predicting the longevity is one of the difficult ones. In one ofthe three parts rules, we need to use Hora Lagna and this can vary based on the Sunrise options we use too. So,if one is well versed with the three parts rule of Longevity and Shoola Dasa then, he or she may surely can attempt to predict the longevity of any one,in my opinion. If Jupiter aspects 3rd from AL then knowledge of death before hand is possible. This includes Premonitions. If Venus aspects then Relative could get the before hand knowledge. SanjayP: Jyotish's foundation is Law Karma. Karma fructifies at given place, time and with a certain person. (Space/Time and Jeevatma) For example if you committed say a crime then it has to fructify in Jail and not a holiday resort. If you did some work to win say a trip Hawaii or some hill station , It has to fructify in such a hill station etc else it will not make sense. Similarly the duration of Stay in this Bhu loka is also determined. Time is controlled by Lord Shiva, And one of his Dasa called Shoola dasa (Trident holders Dasa) can give clues to duration of Life on this Bhu loka.
