Guest guest
Namaste friends, We have had a lot of puzzles on this list in the last 6 years. Attempting puzzles sincerely is a good way to assess and correct one's knowledge. It's fun too. We have never ridiculed anyone who went wrong on a puzzle. I myself have made attempts and went wrong a few times, thus encouraging others to overcome the fear of going wrong! It has been brought to my attention that there is an accusation of "puzzle fixing" against a respected member. I don't know whether the accusation (viz he privately contacted the puzzle givers and used what he privately found out in solving the puzzle without an acknowledgement) is correct or not. It is also not a pleasant thing to track down and investigate these accusations and find out the truth. It is a waste of energy. So I will not do it. However, I request those who give puzzles to be careful and eliminate corruption. If you are giving a puzzle, please do not give the answer or any vital details in a private correspondence to anyone and make sure that all the correspondence is public. If someone finds out something from you and misrepresents it on the list as though he/she found it out astrologically, please bring it to the attention of the list gently. There is no need to tolerate fraud, however small it is. It is the responsibility of the person giving a puzzle to ensure that there is no fixing or cheating. Sometimes, when someone I know posts a puzzle and I either know the answer or have a reasonable idea of the possible answers, I stay away from the puzzle. You should also do the same thing if you know somebody and they post a puzzle. Please, guys, don't spoil the fun! It's not important to be correct. It is important to be honest. A honest person will eventually get correct knowledge. Secondly, please listen to Narayan, who is kindly administering the list for me, and drop the meaningless threads that he asks you to drop. Neither I nor Sanjay nor other gurus take people like Dharmesh seriously. He is somehow angry and let him get his anger off his chest and move on. Thanks for your support, but really there is no need to respond to such emails. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha List Admin & Founder PS: The "Tithi Pravesha" book is going fine. Guest guest
Dear Members, To take part in the 'Puzzels', i have made few principles for my own self. i am giving it for the sake of members if they are of any help 1) Not to see the 'Answers' of other members before posting my answer 2) Never ever to ask any clarification unless it is a Must. eben if need to clarify something then only ask in front of list 3) Never take refuge in the excuses for going wrong, but learn from mistakes. I know many members will be doing the same but still wrote to guide the new enterents in Vedic Jyotisha. the above will always nullify the unpleasent situations. and not to forget the Puzzel provide, he must not encourage any personal correspondance in that regard and also should not try to misguide or give any clues. best regards, Astrologically yours. utpal pathak vedic astrology, "Narasimha P.V.R.
