Guest guest
Hello Folks, What contributes to the meaning of your life? Is it rhythm or discipline? Given a choice what would you choose as desired attribute for your life? My a-scientific observation is that music-deaf's will normally lay heavy emphasis on discipline... I am born anti-disciplinarian and hate any kind of discipline imposed externally on any one, either in family or in work-environment. I always perceived externally imposed discipline as anti-natural and highly counter-productive. If you observe carefully natural phenomena then one will notice that they are more rhythmatic than disciplined. Does disciplined beating of a drum produce music? Does it bring meaning, emotion into it? No. Simply because it doesnt offer opportunity for exploration, improvisation. And I think what is more conducive to growth is rhythm. Discipline is imposed and rhythm is expression of the soul. Just look inward for a moment and find out - is your life expressing music of your soul?
