Guest guest
Dear Friends Thanks a lot for all of you who enthusiastically responded to my puzzle and also to all those who tried the puzzle but could not post their messages owing either to hesitation or want of time. This incident, as detailed below for reference, is from my own life. My mother passed away on that day. She was on dialyses from 2003 after loosing her both kidneys. Though I arranged for best possible care for her, I could not spend much time with her for my professional involvements. I wished to be on her bed side during her last minutes. Doctors can not give a particular date for such cases so I depended on several professional astrologers. Based on my mother’s horoscope they predicated her departure to be in Dec. 2004. Only one amateur astrologer (whom I could not meet afterwards to check the details) based on my chart suggested me to be alert towards the end of Sep 2004. Accordingly, I had planned my travel to India but it was one week behind. I missed the last moment. To understand how astrology can help us in such maters, I tried to pin-point the event based on my chart. I could not even see the event based on my limited knowledge, neither any of my known astrologer friends. One of the outcomes of our analyses was Pitru-soka as also suggested by some of you. Let’s congratulate Mr. Dasagupta (Message# 59209) who gave 100% correct answer. Had there no correct answer, I would have doubted my TOB. Most of us did see the importance of Mercury and Saturn in this analysis. Though several things could have happened to me that day, they did not. Of course there are related events like re-scheduling my travel etc. I wish we know how to eliminate unimportant events from an analysis to capture the real important one. I wonder if it is easy to rank concurrent/probable events based on their percentage significances. Learned members may comment on it. I have attached all the analyses as a WORD document for the benefit of interested members. I wish I had more time to prepare a summary of all those. Guest guest
Dear Swadhin, It was always going to be a sad event astrologically and especially when mother departs. accept my heart felt condolences. only Mr. JK DA could arrive at right conclusion. I had considered Wife & Mother as well but thought that strong Saturn in 7th (4th w.r.t 4th house as well as Bhavat Bhavam) placed in own house may not give tregady in that relations. it is a research material to check again in the light of the actual incident. regards, utpal vedic astrology, Swadhin Behera <beherajapan> wrote: > Dear Friends > > Thanks a lot for all of you who enthusiastically > responded to my puzzle and also to all those who tried > the puzzle but could not post their messages owing > either to hesitation or want of time. Guest guest
Dear Utpal Thanks for your kind words and condolences. I am also thankful to you for your extraordinary zeal in solving this puzzle. I wish we could apply proven statistical methods to improve probabilities of event forecasts. It appears my word file containing all the analyses failed to attach to my posting. How do I attach it? It might be useful to explore those further. Guest guest
Dear Swadhin, This is a sad event. but as mortals we have to go thru such events from time to time. that is life. Astrologically, there is another way to look at it. i have done some work on use of saham & presented a paper in last SJC conference in mumbai. whoever has read my article in last JD will understand this. look at the matru saham. it is at 6 Cp 4'. Sukhsma lord i.e star lord is Sun (uttarshada). Sun was transiting Virgo and was at 3 Vi 25' exactly in trine to saham within 3 deg orb, thus activating the saham. now look at the transit of sun from moon's natal position. it was at 12th indicating loss. also saham falls in Aq navamsa. So it's D1 dispositor & D9 dispositor both are Sat & sat was transiting 10th from natal moon (kantaka shani). with this 8th lord's D1 dispositor (Ven) & D9 dispositor (Sat) were together in transit in the 12H from natal asc. trigering the sad event. best wishes jk vedic astrology [vedic astrology]On Behalf Of utpal pathak Monday, July 04, 2005 6:45 PM vedic astrology [vedic astrology] Re: Answer: another puzzle on an important life event - 3rd Possibility Dear Swadhin, It was always going to be a sad event astrologically and especially when mother departs. accept my heart felt condolences. only Mr. JK DA could arrive at right conclusion.
