Guest guest
Dear Members, You may find Google Earth very interesting for learning or teaching purposes about longitude and latitude. The satellite imagery is amazing. When you move your mouse around an area, you can see the longtitude and lattitude info updated immediately with the accuracy of up to 2 decimal places of an arc second. The free downloadable installation file is about 10 mb. For more info, go to : http://earth.google.com/ Here's the *minimum* requirement to run Google Earth : - Operating system: Windows 2000, Windows XP - CPU speed: Intel® Pentium® PIII 500 MHz - System memory (RAM): 128MB - 200MB hard-disk space - 3D graphics card: 3D-capable video card with 16MB VRAM - 1024x768, 32-bit true color screen - Network speed: 128 kbps ("Broadband/Cable Internet") Best Wishes, Pushya
