I know your original discussion went haywire and was never answered.

 

Your original discussion is valid and here is a small pointer for the

same. The different methods used can confirm the happening of an event

or not or whether a particular planet can perform's its role in a

particular event.

 

The system of Pada let me relate to the illusions that I weave around

myself. For example, in many charts I have seen Ketu in Arudha lagna

causes one of the two things:

1. It causes one to reject one's illusion or one holds on to a

previous illusion without rhyme or reason and not change. What a

person chooses shall depend upon how his/her Atmakaraka is placed.

Such small pointers help me realize something more about myself.

 

2. Rashi Drishti and Graha Drishti: I see Rashi drishti to be one

which creates the environment or modifies the environment but it

cannot force an event like the graha drishti does. Recently while

doing a chart of a friend, he complained of his employees stealing his

intellectual property. He is into training. I saw the company chart

and found, Saturn graha drishti causing the problem. I saw Venus

drishti through Rashi Drishti and predicted that a woman found and

reported this leak. Which was correct. Futher I told him that a dark

tall man who is very diplomatic is behind the leak. Diplomacy was

borne out of Gemini placement of Saturn. This turned out to be true

and the Friend took action against him. Thankfully the material was

recovered.

 

Similarly, I feel these concepts that may seem complex in the

beginning could be related in a very simple way. Perhaps if the group

makes its language a little more easier and give structured

understanding, it will be better learning. This is only a suggestion.

 

Maybe you can question at length to anyone who uses, seemingly

"complex" subject to understand the simplicity behind it.
