Hare Krishna

Dear Narasimha ,

Pranams

Let me see if I got this right? Sorry im trying to grasp this....

1) check for connections of A8 , 8th house/lord,with ketu(rahu),12

house or lord in rasi chart, and also check the same in Navamsa.

2) in D-20 , locate signs and planets associated with A8,AK,nodes,12

house,etc

If there are common denominators then

, using Narayana Dasa of D-20, one can expect a favorable period for

such Kundalini experience during the transiting planets through

signs linked to those same planets/signs from above

(nodes,A8,8thand/or 12th lord etc)

Where can I read more about this from SJC?

Thank-you,

Lakshmi Kary

You can use "Jagannatha Hora" software to compute Narayana dasa of

Dear Lakshmi,

Whatever I wrote is based on my observations based on a limited set of reliable

(to me, anyway) case studies. I cannot share the data. Though this is my

deduction and not strictly based on the knowledge of the SJC tradition,

obviously the fundamentals as per the tradition must have influenced my

thinking.

If I am not mistaken, Sanjay did some work on astrological correlations of

Kundalini rise, based on "Nrisin(g)ha Puraana", a couple of years back.

Hopefully, he will find an occasion to share his work with us!

Just bear in mind that 4th, 8th and 12th are moksha trikonas. While kaama

trikonas shows the motivation behind what one does (3rd - initiative and

forming of desires, 7th - nurturing and pursuit of desires, 11th -

fructification of desires), moksha trikonas show overcoming the desires and

being liberated from the concept of motivation and desire. For any spiritual

progress, these are vital houses.

The 4th house shows the direction one has, from which happiness and comfort

come. When you find your direction, you have to work hard and do

tapasya/sadhana. The 8th house shows that. Finally, when the sadhana pays off,

you become liberated. The 12th house shows liberation. It shows letting go.

As I said, the rasi, navamsa and vimsamsa chart are vital. But, astute readers

would've noticed that something like Kundalini awakening does not come due to

the sadhana of one life. It comes due to sadhana from several lives. It should

be destined to happen as a result of past karmas. Naturally, an important chart

should be shashtyamsa. The physical existence is shown by rasi chart and various

environments surrounding and supporting the physical existence (e.g. dharmik

environment, spiriutal environment etc) are shown by various divisional charts

(e.g. D-9, D-20 etc). The physical existence and the environments that support

it are merely a vehicle for discharging the karma that is to be experienced.

Shashtyamsa shows that karma.

For example, in Ramakrishna Paramahan(g)sa's shashtyamsa chart, you can find

Ketu in the 8th house. The 8th and 12th lords are on the lagna axis. From the

12th lord Sun, his naisargika bodhaka Mars happens to be in the bodhaka sthana

in the chart! His naisargika karaka Jupiter happens to be in the karaka sthana

in the chart! While Sun owns 12th, Mars and Jupiter own the other moksha

trikonas!

Now see vimsamsa. The 8th lord Saturn is in 8th, joined by Rahu and Ketu. That

is a very powerful combination for spiritual sadhana. Moreover, 8th lord Saturn

is the naisrgika karaka for 12th lord Venus and he is in tatkaala karaka sthana

from Venus in this vimsamsa chart.

As you see a similar synergy between 8th and 12th in D-60 and D-20, you can

conclude that the native will do spiritual sadhana and have some liberating

experiences.

[Note: If you want to learn about pachakadi sambandhas, read Sarvartha

Chintamani (or is it Jataka Parijatam? I seem to be forgetting. I think it is

Sarvartha Chintamani). For each planet, there are 4 planets - pachaka, bodhaka,

karaka and vedhaka. Pachaka literally means one who cooks. Bodhaka literally

means one who explains. Karaka literally means one who gets done. Vedhaka

literally means one who obstructs. These are the planets who have access to the

domain ruled by the planet and cause influence. Whether the influence is good or

bad depends on the compound relationship between the planets (friends, enemies

etc) and the conflicts and synergies between what they show in the chart. There

are naisargika (inherent) pachaka, bodhaka etc and also certain houses from

planets become tatkaala pachaka sthana, bodhaka sthana etc. In JHora, click the

right mouse button on a planet in a chart and select "Relationships" in the

pop-up menu and "Pachakadi relationships of this planet" in the sub-enu.]

May Jupiter's light shine on us,

Narasimha

Dear Narasimha Rao Ji,

Namaskar,

Thank You for sharing knowledge about Pachakadi Sambandha.

1. It would be great if You could write us more how to use it & some examples.

2. Karaka for Venus is Saturn

and Vedhaka is Sun per JH.

In Cova it is opposite. Where is mistake ?

with regards,

Rafal Gendarz.
