Guest guest
Dear Rafal and all the other members, I am still confused about the Rasi vs. navamsa aspect. In one of the previous posts by another member who had a gaj kesari yoga in D1 and jupiter debilitated in Navamsa, there was this comment from Shri Rafal: ""If there is Raja Yoga, and Navamsa gives debiliation it means Raja-Bhanga Yoga, and there is no cancellation to this debilitation when we talk about Rasi-thulya-Navamsa. Navamsa Neecha-Bhanga helps only in area of Navamsa."" I am not sure if I understand (particularly the last line). Rafal, can you please elaborate on this. Also, about the Rasi vs. navamsa in general, can anyone please answer some hypothetical questions ( I understand that a complete analysis of both the charts must be done to give any answer ofr certain, but I am just looking for general comments) 1.) Suppose a planet is exalted in rasi and debilated in navamsa. What does that mean for the native. Lets assume that all the other factors (house placement, dispositor) etc are constant or same for this planet. 2.) I have read somewhere that sun and moon (in navamsa) are most essential for starting and sustaining a yoga. Now, suppose sun and moon are debilated in navamsa and all the other palnets are exalted (in navamsa) and forming a yoga in rasi. Does that mean that the yogas will not be realized. Again, as I mentioned previously I would be more interested in general comments (without specific chart examples) but if an example helps then I think my planets are STRONG and welll placed in navamsa BUT AVERAGE in rasi. Guest guest
Hare Krishna Dear Avin, TO put it simply, having raja yogas in rasi is like a promise, but only if navamsa confirms then can it be REALIZED. There are other reasons behind that, as well, think of concept of vargottoma. Many people have raja yogas here and there. 1)You also have to look and see if the planets are strong throughout the divisions (vargas) to see if the shakti of dharma/karma is behind it. 2)In addition, are the yogas a result of conjunctions of planets? Or just aspects(these are like desires) whereas rashi dristhi is permanent. 3) ALso the person has to be running a favorable Dasa to activate the yogas in a big way. 4) Use the special lagnas to understand power/postions(GL), money issues(HL). Make sure to check GL , HL, etc and see if they have a connection and also connection through their lords , to lagna. Look at some charts of people who have a had lasting fame. They usually have one favorable Dasa after another, whereas the average guy, doesnt even live to see his good placements at times, etc. Best Wishes, Lakshmi vedic astrology, "avin6dl" <avin6dl> wrote: > > Dear Rafal and all the other members, > > I am still confused about the Rasi vs. navamsa aspect. > > In one of the previous posts by another member who had a gaj kesari > yoga in D1 and jupiter debilitated in Navamsa, there was this comment > from Shri Rafal: > ""If there is Raja Yoga, and Navamsa gives debiliation it means > Raja-Bhanga Yoga, and there is no cancellation to this debilitation > when we > talk about Rasi-thulya-Navamsa. > > Navamsa Neecha-Bhanga helps only in area of Navamsa."" > > I am not sure if I understand (particularly the last line).
