Kundalini Awakening (to Ranjan)

Dear Ranjan,

Lest people be misled, I need to clarify that I am not an expert in the area of Kundalini jagarana.

My observations are based on a small amount of data, as data is tough to obtain

in this area. The data is suspect as some people may be confused about what

Kundalini jagarana is. Some interactions between the subtle body and the gross

body, that cleanse the nadis and prepare them for Kundalini jagarana, can be

mistaken for one. Moreover, as Dr Pandit clarified, Kundalini jagarana is

merely the beginning of a long journey. It is not the end goal of one's

spiritual journey by any means.

Dr Pandit is definitely much much more knowledgable in this area than I am. I

know that well personally.

I am glad you started a dialog with him. I will just say a little I observed and

then withdraw from this conversation. I wrote on this thread originally only

because I wanted to help the lady who seemed to be eager about Kundalini

jagarana.

In my judgment, vimsamsa is the vital chart. Each soul has a little of the

Supreme Being, but it is wrapped in maya and forced to lead a bound and limited

existence. Kundalini is the Shakti that can unlimit this existence and liberate

one. Naturally, rasi, navamsa and vimsamsa are vital charts.

When somebody I know had a Kundalini jagarana, for example, annual dasa of Sun

was running. Sun was the 5th lord in the 8th house in Scorpio in D-20 of the

annual TP chart.

Regarding transits, I suggest correlating natal D-20 with transit navamsa chart.

Something like Kundalini jagarana happens due to the sadhana in several lives.

Transit navamsas of planets show the focus point of the blessings for the

accumulated punya. The natal vimsamsa chart shows the sadhana of a person in

this life and one's attempts to connect to one's concept of "god". The

interactions between natal vimsamsa and transit navamsa show the fruits

obtained in one's spiritual pursuit.

When you look for navamsa transit influences on natal vimsamsa positions, look

for Jupiter's influence on lagna, Saturn's influence on Moon, the influence of

8thlord/12th lord/Ketu on A8 (mrityu pada - arudha pada of 8th) and the

influence of ishta devata on Saturn. Ishta/moksha devata is the planet

associated with the 12th house from chara atma karaka (AK) in natal navamsa

chart.

Also, I suggest looking at the 4th house from AK in natal D-20 to see the

spiritual path one finds attractive. For example, Saturn would show Patanjali's

yoga sastra. Sun and Jupiter would show the jnaana maarga.

To see whether one pursues Kundalini jagarana through hatha yoga, bhakti yoga,

jnaana yoga etc can be studied from the moksha trikonas (esp 4th) from AK in

D-20.

May Jupiter's light shine on us,

Narasimha

Dear Shri PVR Narsimha Rao,

This may sound like flattering, but both your emails are "touch of class" , I

suggest you write a detailed book sharing your experiences on the tricky

subject "transits in Navmansha and other Divisional charts and it's correlation

with predictions". That would be a great gift to learners and also to

experienced astrologers.

Warm regards,

Anil Gogate
