Guest guest
Respected Sirs, Lots of discussions are going on over AK and its effects. After reading all the related articles and replies, I have come to know that during the period of AK one will have sufferrings that will help him to gain spiritual strength. I have certain doubts regarding this. 1. As each person will be having any one planet as AK, what are the effects of AK for an agnost or an atheist? I mean what will be the 'realisation' that the planet teaches him? 2. We usually face troubles and problems during the periods of other planets, (I mean other than Atma karaka), also. Dont we gain spiritual strength after that too? Then what is the difference between the 'realisation' induced by the sufferings given by an Ak and other planets? 2. Finally, what is actually meany by spiritual strength:-))? Is it that people will turn religious after the sufferings? Or is it that people will gain mental strenth to face any crisis in his life? If mental strength is what is meant, why is it called spiritual strength? Can anybody please differentiate between the two? 3. Is the realisations gained during the period of AK permanent? I mean I have seen people turning philosophical & spiritual during crisis and once the problems are solved leading a life with attitude ' damn philosophy .. and rituals'. Scholars plz help.. Just doubts .. not at all questioning astrology.. Regards, Jyothi

If Saturn is the Chara AtmaKaraka, then one may offer a shoulder to help shar ethe burden of others, for example. If Mars is the Chara AtmaKaraka, then one may be subjected to the anger or aggressiveness of human nature, more so than others, for example... Also, not all just have "one" Chara AtmaKaraka. If there is a replaement, then one finds a shift... > > 2. We usually face troubles and problems during the periods of other > planets, (I mean other than Atma karaka), also. The Chara AtmaKaraka as given by the Maharishis are to be used further to understand other planetary lessons as well. What are the challenges when it comes to nurturing or nourishing of a person? Would you not consider also examining the Chara Matri Karaka as well...? > > > 2. Finally, what is actually meany by spiritual strength:-))? Strength that caters more to something beyond the physical self and the known mind. Is it > that people will turn religious after the sufferings? Not nescessarily. Though, one could wonder why one suffers, and this may or may not lead to religion. Or is it that > people will gain mental strenth to face any crisis in his life? Examine the Moon for emotional strength(s). There are various harmonics to the mind (hinted in the subdivisionals). If > mental strength is what is meant, why is it called spiritual > strength? Can anybody please differentiate between the two? Well, ask those from where you heard it from...? :> You must be able to appreciate the various colours, strokes, finishes on a canvas to grasp the full painting... It is all one and the same, but sometimes, we focus on just a smaller portion of life.... Distinguish between, if possible,... The physical self... The mind as we know it... The spark of the soul... > > 3. Is the realisations gained during the period of AK permanent? Some say only truth is permanent. Sure... it happens... life is not a bed of roses... but then -- neither is it a bed of thorns. > > > Scholars plz help.. Just doubts .. not at all questioning astrology.. Some of what you ask can be revealed from the charts.... > > Regards, > Jyothi Good luck to you. Just some thoughts... Bala Gopal.
