Guest guest Posted June 19, 2005 Report Share Posted June 19, 2005 DEAR MEMBERS, My query is related to the effects of the 12th house saturn , 12th house is 7th from the sixth house thus a partner to the sixth house matters like enemies etc. thus bad. however the saturn is supposed to diminish the bad effects of 6,8,12 houses however it flourishes the effects of the 7th house from it.THEREFORE in the 12th house saturn house cut down all forms of losses however should help flourish the enemies from its 7th aspect to the 6th house which very commonly accepted by astrolgers, however my question is if the enemies flourish how will the losses be curtailed. Learned gurus please also shed light on the placement of placement of saturn with jupiter in 12th in virgo, how does conjunction of jupiter affect saturn's tendencies. It stands for our expenditure attidute, charity, loses, hospitalisation, lonliness, sleep, bedroom, and sextual pleasure. As derivative house, it shows, profession/social status of coborns, dhan of jetha brathru/mitra, own spouse ailment, longevity of offspring, mother's luck, and spouse of rivals(enemies) etc. Saturn is supposed to restrict or curtail the effect of house where it occupies and sustain the significance of house whom it aspects. General effect from Jyotish Classics are; native may incur in wasteful expenditure, poor sleeping habit, sinful deeds, lose of pregnancy, financial trouble, confront/destroy enemies and live in foreign lands. If 2nd lord is simultaneously afflicted then 12th Saturn may break educational prospects and produces differences with family memebers. If 9th lord and Sun is weak then 12th Saturn may bound the native to suffer from/due to father or teachers. If Moon is afflicted then 12th Saturn may not permit to enjoy peaceful sleep. You further asked, effect of Sat+Jup in 12th for Virgo ascendant. It is risky even misleading to conclude result on the basis of just one conjuction. "Saturn is supposed to restrict or curtail the effect of house where it occupies and sustain the significance of house whom it aspects." Are you implying that saturn afflicts differently by aspect and conjunction? For eg: For Pisces ascendant, Saturn as 12&11L in the 3rd house is bad for 3rd house significations but his aspect on 5th and 9th is good for the indications of those house.(I am ignoring his aspect on 12th for this discussion,since ,he himself happens to be the lord and hence his aspect is good) This is different from my understanding that the aspect or conjunction of a Saturn (disposed as mentioned above) is harmful for both 5,9 and 3rd house, and hence my interest in your statement. I would very much appreciate if you can elaborate a little more on the principle that you touched on.
