Guest guest
Hello All, Does the Marana Karaka rule apply if the planet is in its own house or exalted? For example, Mars in Scorpio in the 7th, Saturn in the first in Aquarius? Does anyone have detailed information about planets in MKS? Please let me know. Thanks Venkatesh
Guest guest
Dear Venkatesh, Following are the Maran Karaka (death inflicting) Sthana for grahas. Sun 12th Moon 8th Mars 7th Mercury 7th (sometime 4th is taken) Jupiter 3rd Saturn 1st Rahu 9th Planets in MKS cause destruction of their natural karkattawas and house concerned, provided other affliction is also present. Though classic does not mention any cancellation of MKS, but obviously when a planet in its own sign then probable evil effect of MSK may greatly reduced. The situation you hinted (i.e. Mars is in 7th in own sign or Saturn in 1st in own sign) leads to Panch Maha Purush yogas and thats why MKS (though not removed) but become feeble upto great extent. The case is akin to a person who is laying in a coffin box. But the died one may be martyr (planet is int exaltation) OR honourned death (own sign) OR normal physical death (friendly sign) OR hanged/capital punished (inimical sign) OR killed (deblitiation) On the other hand, natural malefics (without benefic aspect/association) in any house destroy the significance of that house.
