Guest guest
Dear Hri, >Here is some confusion in time zone. Kasparov was born in Baku-capital of >Azerbaijan. Time zone of Baku was 4 hours East at that time. No DST. DST >was introduced from 1981. Certainly no DST, that would make the TZ 5 instead of 4. But why does astro.com give TZ 3 in 1963, while in 1967 I checked for the same and then it is TZ 4? Perhaps there was an experiment done in that year. I have the same for my sister-in-law, and only in 1964 there was added 1 hour DST in Poland. It seems this was a time where some experimenting was going on. By the way, how old were you in 1963? You are fortunate you were Kasparov's neighbour. You must know him then, could you tell us what kind of a person is he? Best wishes.
