Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Himanshu Mohana Gundicha is the *special name* in Jagannath Puri for Radha. It is considered impudent to address the Lord by name as we are His servants.Big Bhaktas can but not us tiny puny servants, so Krishna is called Jagannatha and Radha is called Gundicha. The Gundicha temple is outside the Jagannatha temple and the famous Ratha yatra is the movement of the Rath of Jagannath from the Jagannath temple to the Gundicha (Radha or Mausi-Ma) temple and back. When this Rath travels to the Gundicha temple, all the souls who have died within the Nila madhaba mountain (PUri Kshetra) will be allowed to get into the chariot of Sri Jagannatha and then they will get moksha. For the benefit of all I am copying this to the VA list With best wishes and warm regards, Sanjay Rath * * * Sri Jagannath CenterR 15B Gangaram Hospital Road New Delhi 110060, India http://srath.com, +91-11-25717162 * * * > >Himanshu Mohan [himanshu] >Wednesday, June 08, 2005 10:29 PM >Gajapati >[Gajapati] Shri Radhe Jagannatha! /Guru Shri Sanjay ji > >Om Ganeshay Namah >Shri Gurave >Namah >Guru Shri Sanjay ji, > >Pranam.
