Guest guest
Monday we'll know whether Michael Jackson will go to prison or not. His birth data are as follows: 8/29/1958, 23:45, Gary, IN, USA. Using an ayanamsa that is 47 minutes less than Lahiri, MJ recently entered the vimsottari dasha of Ketu, which is placed in his 12th house (prison). He will be in Ketu/Ketu/Rahu/Ketu/Rahu next monday. Ketu will last until 2012. Ketu is in the naksatra owned by himself. (lord and sublord) which makes it worse. Either he's going to live even more withdrawn from the world, or he's indeed going to prison... Transitory Saturn is aspecting this dashalord Ketu within 2 degrees. Transitory Neptune is on his MC (Madhya-lagna), which makes his future and reputation uncertain. It also opposes his Venus, which is his ascendant lord. On Monday transitory Mercury will oppose his Saturn, which doesn't portend good news for Michael, and may lead to another mental breakdown, and thoughts of loneliness and separation. The Sun (now in a favorable nakshatra, but not anymore after 23:00 next monday) will oppose his Saturn too, which also gives feelings of loneliness and isolation, as well as weakened health. Next Monday his Moon is in a favorable naksatra, until 18:00, after which it will also approach it's opposition with natal Saturn. Not an evening of celebration! Guest guest
Hi Ivar, I found your post very interesting. I'm only just beginning to read and learn about astrology so I was wondering if you're able to look into his personality. What I mean is, are able to tell by looking at his chart if he's infact guilty of these crimes? Guest guest
> if he's infact guilty of these crimes? Dear Nyree, Last year when he was first taken to court, I analysed his transits, and noticed that indeed he may have committed the crimes. Unfortunately I do not remember now, so I'll have to analyse those transits again. Notice his Venus-Uranus conjunction though. Ivar
Guest guest
It's taking a long time. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes another day and the verdict is made on Tuesday morning. The Moon will square his Saturn, and move into an inauspicious naksatra for him. Ivar

Guest guest
> Just read the verdict on the news- not guilty. What does this say about > astrology I wonder. Look at it this way: If we had known in advance when the verdict would be given, we could have analysed THAT moment. If the verdict would have been read this morning, the news for MJ would have been bad. But it was read while the Moon was in an auspicious naksatra for him, so the news was good. As far as Ketu in the 12th house, it can be interpreted in other ways than prison, as I mentioned in the first post. He may live an even more secluded life from now on, for example. It is also not certain that his birthtime is correct. So the main lesson is that unless the moment of birth is certain, no predictions can be made with certainty.
