Without your chart, there is very little one can say. Richa Ji has

examined, and once again kindly offered to look at your chart. As she

may nto have saved your chart, please send full details.

 

Here are some points to consider:

 

Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra (BPHS) explicitly lists out the degrees

of the luminaries where they are uccha ("exaltation") and neecha

("debilitation"). However, the Maharishi, did not list the degrees

where the Nodes would be classified as such....

 

Perhaps, one was to gauge into the nature and function of the Nodes in

different signs. I'm sure other authors may have opinion, but try to

find out why, and what is actually happening with Rahu in your chart?

This may be better than just "exalted" / "debilitated" classifications.

 

Planets interact, so if Mars is with another, you have to take a

broader interpretation.

 

There are many types of drishtis described in the Stars. Besides graha

and Rashi, there are various percentages also attributed to these

which are sometimes overlooked. I'm sure you will have some planets /

signs aspecing your 10th House.

 

With the Government, I would consider some influence of the Sun.

 

Mars is the executioner. It is also the natural significator of land

-- bhoomi kaaraka.
