Dear Richaji,

 

All of us support you and you are quite brave in explaining the situation that

the person was asking nasty queries on messenger hence you asked your

hubby to tackle him. But why he switched on web camera to unknown person ?

Anyway you have tackled the situation correctly.

 

List members, best is to ignore such issues as such people were there in past

and would be there in days to come also. However moderators can ascertain the

facts individually and remove such derogatory messages and also remove

membership of the person doing such posting.

 

I would like to caution all the members of the group that some mischief mongers

are trying to contact members of this group on messenger or emails. They

under disguise of people interested in astrology start talking filthy and

abusive language. Even assume female name and have a fake photo in profile. All

should make themselves aware how to block messages from such people. In

messenger under preferences , go to ignore list, if you choose option ignore

anyone who is not on my messenger list - then such intruders cannot suddenly

contact you.

 

However no point in paying attention to such issues and discussing anymore. I

suggest moderators take appropriate action and we stop further posting on this

issue.

Dear Soumit,

 

Please do not treat this issue so casually. These days , not having any

respect for dignity and pride of female members has become common. whether

it is on email, chatting or many of the situations in the physical world,

women face such situations from sex starved males daily. And they have been

trained how to face / ignore / avoid / forget /circumvent such situations

since childhood. I think getting associated in this manner with any female

member without her consent is a crime which is being done thousands of times

especially in a county like India in variety of virtual and physical

situations.

 

I know this is not a forum on abuse or eve teasing, but atleast we should

strongly denounce such issues than taking them casually.
