Namaskaar Tarun,

I would like to share my understanding or knowledge with you regarding the Retro Planets.

According to me Astrology is a purely a science and due to lack of

understanding, percieving difference & capability due to time-change, lot of

Points we couldn't understand and correlate. As we move ahead i am sure we can

understand & correlate with scientific reasons.

let us see whats the meaning of 'Retro'.As you said Retro means backwards or

moving backward, the english meaning is correct but there are other meanings to

'Retro'.Here, we need to take decline/revert/Deteriorate.

Why does a planet has to be Retro

As we know planets revolve around the sun in Elipthical orbits.Planets change

these elipthical orbits in fixed time. For example if we take Saturn it revolves

around Sun in one elipthical orbit for two and half years which we call it as

'Raasi' or House. When the Planet has to change from one elipthical orbit to

another elipthical orbit it needs a great balance of energy and speed. So the

planet will slow down or we can say Decline/revert/Deteriorate its speed, motion

and will prepare itself to change its orbit with a smooth transition. This

decline/revert/deteriorate time is known as 'Retro'.

Example

For better and easy understanding we can take the example of the train changing

the track. The train which is moving at great speed or a constant speed has to

Decline/revert/Deteriorate its speed and motion for the safe and smooth transit

from one tack to another track. So we can say the time in between the change of

the tracks is known as 'Retro'

Example of Spacecraft

We can take another example of 'Retro Rocket'.For slowing down the space craft

in space a auxilary rocket is used which is called a 'Retro rocket'.

Retro or Vakra or Vakram in Astrology

As we know the planet which is Retrograde will show its bad results or create

tensions it is due to these Decline/Revert/Deteriorating condition of the

planet during the transition time.

Tarun,I am sure from above you got the answer.

Regards,

Sunil Kumar Varanasi

scientific reason ...as astrology is a science..not just theoritical

calculations of deg..or houses..since abt jupiter its not always good planet

this explanation by you is really explaining my question and giving

me the logic behind it ..

Its like the same thing as the electron jumps from one orbit to

another it loses some engergy ...the same happens with the

planets..ofcourse..

thanks for the explantion...kindly give me more ideas abt the

planetery movements if u have any theortical material..to mail
