[Gajapati] Marriage Puzzle!

Dear Jayaram,

 

I am trying to answer your puzzle taking only Husband's chart in to

consideration for avoiding any confusion for my self (Wife Lagna is in Boarder)

 

I am mainly using 2 charts D1 & D9, Vimshottari (Dwi-sapt- for curiosity as well

as testing), Transit & Tithi Pravesha.

 

I may not be able to provide analysis for all the dates here but will try to give in brief.

 

Dates: - 26.1.1997 - Rahu / Sat / Venus 17.8.1998 - Rahu / Mer / Mer

09.5.1997- Rahu / Sat / Moon 22.8.1999 - Rahu / Mer / Moon

 

Now to broadly judge which Antardasha can give marriage, i have done following analysis -

 

Saturn :- D1 - 4th & A7 lord placed in 5th with Rahu (Mahadasha nath), aspects

7th house. it also aspects UL cum 2nd house with Graha & rashi drashti. Saturn

is also 7th lord from Moon lagna.

 

D9- He is a yogakarka (4th & 5th lord) placed in 2nd house & more importantly

exchanged house with 7th cum 2nd lord Mars.

 

Mecury: - D1 - Malefic for Scorpio as a 8th & 11th lord palced in 3rd

D9 - Well placed in 9th in house and also placed in 7th from UL

aspecting it with Rashi & Graha Drashti.

 

The above factor indicates to me that Though both palnets are capable of giving

marriage in their own Antara, Saturn is more potent to give result in

comparison to Budha.

 

The native was running his 30th year in 1997, hence Saturn has already played

his part in delaying the marriage here. now saturn i his Pratyantar should

bestow good results and also it aspects 7th & well placed w.r.t to Mahadasha

nath.

 

 

Test with Transit : - Transit again clarifies what i have concluded above.

Transit of Saturn & Guru during 1997 was from 5th & 3rd respectively (from

d1). The main point here which immediately stuck my mind is that 7th house is

activated by combined aspect of Saturn, Guru & Rahu in transit hence they

should bring about the marriage in 1997. another point here is that though Ju

is debiliated but exchanges house with Saturn during Transit and can give good

transit results (pl. don't ask me source here. this is my understanding)

 

Where as in 1998, The 7th house actiavtion is missing in transit. though Ju

aspects 7th lord from 5th.

 

Now the more Tricky question of identifying 26.1.1997 & 9.5.1997.

 

26.1.1997 suggest quickly and in a straight forward way the marriage because it

comes under period of Rahu / Saturn / Venus. Saturn aspects 7th house & Venus

is the lord of 7th placed in lagna & aspects 7th house. only problem is that it

is placed in 6th house in D9.

 

The other Prantyatar lord Moon (date 9.5.1997) is though badhaka is well placed

in 10th with UL Jupiter creating Gajakesari yoga. Moon is very strongly palced

in D9 because it has exchanged house with Ju which is a UL & A7 lord in D9.

 

 

Hence looking at Vimsh. dasha both Pratyantara are capable of giving marriage.

 

checked with Transit - On 9th may, Venus is transiting 7th house which is own

house & lagna lord mars from 10th house over natal moon.

 

on 26th jan - Venus is transiting 2nd house from UL

 

Transit is also not give me clear judgement. Though i feel 9th may has better

transit here becuse in D9 Mars & Sun (7th & 11 th lords) are in exchane during

transit on that day.

 

Final try with TP Chart:- I am not discussing TP related to 26.1.1997 here.

members can check for themselves.

 

TP of 1997 falls on 28.1.1997, at 16.36.23 with Hora lord Venus placed in 7th

with lagna lord Budha. in D9 Venus as 7th lord palced in UL in 9th house

----------check the Tithi Ashtottari - the date 9.5.1997 falls in Ven / Mer

period & both are palced in 7th in TP Chart.

 

Intrestingly enough, the Period in dwi-saptati is Rahu/Moon/Sat

 

I am quite clear now.

 

My judgment is that the marriage was performed on 9.05.1997
