The concept of Nagadosha is put into use , largely by keralite astrologers of

yesteryears as well as the village astrologers of Karnataka. A Nagadosha is

said to arise under following conditions

1, When Rahu (serpent) occupies 8th from the ascendant identical with a malefic

sign in conjunction with or aspected by Saturn.Rahu+ gulika in the 8th too

causes Nagadosha

2, When Rahu occupies the badha Rasi ( 11th for moveable, 7th for dual, 9th for

fixed ) sign in conjunction with Saturn or aspected by saturn the yoga is

formed.

.. Rahu + gulika in the badha Rasis too causes Nagadosha

 

Impact of Nagadosha

 

Identical with 8th house

 

Sociological correspondence

1, Early curtaliment of wed-lock, by death or divorce

2, Result not commensurate with effort

Pschychological correspondence

1, Inclination to change faith or religion

2,Procrastination of ones duties

Biological correspondence

2, suseptible to insects bite, troubles from quadrapeds etc

3, lingering skin disease

4, Hysterectomy surgery, cancer in prostate gland

Similarly there are specific results for various houses.Limitations of time

thwarts me from describing the same
