Relevance of Mahurat?

Dear Sirs,

Just wanted your views on the relevance of Mahurat in beginning of new

tasks. Is mahurat more important or the natal horoscopic dasa?

The present Manmohan Singh government was sworn in , in a not too

auspicious mahurat. But all the same astrologers are predicting that he

will continue to be at the helm for another 6 years.

Of course his personal horoscope is very strong ( or so it is presumed).

It will not be a surprise then if he continues in office.

But what about the mahurat chart? How much importance should be given

to that?
