--------Original Message -------

Hi list,

Will someone tell me whether there is provision in JH to view Rasi along with

Navamsa, side by side, in square form (South Indian style) ? If so, what are the

steps to be followed ?

Thanks in advance

Regards

Kid

Dear Shri.Sridhar,

Kaalavedhanam an ancient classic compiled by Maraati Maharaja Sarabhoji

describes that how and why a baby’s 1st year completion is to be performed on

the jenma nakshtra day. Similarly Jaathaka Gragha Chintamani prescribes that how

and why Shastiyapthapurthi and Sadhabhishegha are to be performed on the jenma

nakshtra day to mark the completion of 60th and 80th birthday of an individual.

I can understand that there may be some procedural / practical differences in

the follow-up of rituals, between the people who live on the either sides of

Vindhiyas. But however your message imply that some thing unusual that excits

among the races of Vedic Pancha-Dhiraveda.Kindly elucidate your argument with

some classical reference.

Your daughter’s jenma nakshtra falls on Thursday the 20th May 2005.

With regards,

D.SathiyanarayanaGupta.

P.S: For living human beings Lunar month of birth & jenma nakshtra (regardless

0f the birth Paksha) to be taken for cellabrations / performing Aayu ohmam.

Anniversary thithi is for Amara / deity (Rama navami, Gokulastami etc.,).
