Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna Dear Anil, Namaskar It is clear from the charter of the group that the real purpose of this group is for sharing, learning astological principles etc., (free advices are an inevitable fallout of this..) If some 'astro-younger' ones take a shot at a horoscope, they should be encouraged to do more of it on the forum, which might be further discussed. Those who seek advise should make themselves aware of the hazards involved in asking for it on a discussion forum! One can not write all the time, some words, which sound more like of an apology. Is it not? Regards Suryaviswanadham , but it is a fact that many many inexperienced boys and girls just by reading few books or attending some Vedic jyotish tuitions are advising people on forum as if they are very matured and experienced astrologers. There is a danger that they may end up giving wrong advice and misguide people.
Guest guest
Dear Panditji, Agreed fully. Others must consider such views with an unbiased attitude. Now about Pune astrologer. Who is that person ? I can contact him as I stay in Mumbai. If possible, give me his contact number / address. Are you sure that he had given such predictions with the aid of astrology and not through any siddhi / sixth sense ? I have heard about such brilliant predictions, but never had any first hand experience. Shri K.N.Rao's standard method for prediction too is based on Rasi, Navamsa, Vimshottari and Astakvarga. Now having mastered Jaimini, he has added it too. Praveen Kumar (Mumbai) Panditji vedic astrology 27, 04, 2005 5:10 AM Re: [vedic astrology] Re: Life experiences of Partha and Sourav Namaste,The key word is many, not all. Even KN rao uses email and internet butyou can not term him internet astrologer. It is dangerious game. WhatKramer has raised are very important points. I am sure that if I hadraised similar points I would have been vilified on the list. The pointthat Kramer asked "Have these astrologers actually seen the remedythey are prescribing work ?". Do not quote some book by some author.Thats where I think age and experience comes into play. Someonementioned that he got bad advise from a 70 year old .No one is sayingthat there are no bad old astrologers. But chances of a bad green hornare lot higher. I have seen this in many a professional fields. peoplejust coming out of school some from big name universities with cockyattitude. They can quote equations and theories like there is notomorrow, but an experienced campaigner can solve the same problemwithout all the theoretical jagon in less time and with certainty. The astrologer from Pune I have talked about, he does not use allthese divisions or divisional charts. He does use outer planetsespecially uranus and neptune, but gives accurate predictions. He hastold things like "Your first spouse is dead and your second spouse hasdeformity in the right hand.." stunningly accurate just by looking thea certain graha in certain sign for a certain lagna. The point is hehas seen thousands of horoscopes and has developed what is calledjyotish drishti. I will trust someone like that 100 times more thansomeone who can just parrot someone elses book without any lifeexperience or experience of having seen tons od charts.Thats the point. Sadly I see here people ( Again not all) who can castcharts using software and can parrot where a graha is ,in which varga, and various dashas. That itself can take pages ( thats what I mean bycut and paste) but there is precious little of value.Vijasdas Pradeepalso has raised very fundamental questions and I personally think whathe is saying has a lot of merit and needs a fresh outlook. Thedivisions are divisions of signs not divisional charts with aspectsetc. OR are they ? Each one has to ponder this question. If thathappens atleast we can say some good came out of this heated sometimesugly debate. Thats my hope...On 4/26/05, Sourav Chowdhury <souravc108 > wrote:> > || Hare Rama Krishna ||> > Dear Pandit-ji,> Namaskar. I do not. Instead I call them eagerly > learning astrologers. Guest guest
Namaste Kramer, I read parthas mail about his life expereinces and I think he has enough life experiences condensed in a short time. His jyotish expereince is also quite extensive and as such deseves the title of a teacher or guru. I wish him all the best in his jyotish pursuits. ....
