Guest guest
||| Hare Rama Krishna ||| Dear Richa and List Members, Namaskaar. The Lagnesh (Lagna Lord) and the Arudha Lagna (AL) can sit together in a house. Consider the following -- Lagna Lord in 4th House. 1) Counting form Lagna to 4th House -- we get 4. 2) Counting 4 more from this place, we get to the 7th House. 3) The AL would have fallen here, but since it is in the 1/7 axis, we count 10 more. 4) We reach the 4th House again. I believe Utpal Ji may have requested you to disregard his previous posting. Next: Now interpret what your understanding is of the AL, planets therein, etc. Of course, the whole chart should be studied together to get a wholistic picture. What do you see....? Best wishes, Nitin. || Namah Shivaaya ||

Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Nitin-ji, Namaskar. Good. Before proceeding further, let us think "why" AL is counted like the way it is counted (say, normally). All the remainder of knowledge on Arudhas will depend on this. So I believe. Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Richa-ji, Namaskar. No, that is not an answer. What you just said (about Maaya etc.) is a part of the definition of AL. But the question is why it is defined like that. If a lord is n-th from its house, then n-th from the lord is the aruda of the house. Why n-th? why not (n+1)-th or something else. Lets not think of the exceptions right now. I am also thinking hard about it. I have a clue but I want to verify it from some source first before telling. Guest guest
||| Hare Rama Krishna ||| Sourav Ji, Namaskaar. I've already thought of it. I was meditating on it aloooong time agoooo.... :> No more group meditation for me on this matter. Am reflecting on something else for the moment. Nitin. P.S. Richa -- there is no "good" or "bad" in Astrology -- these are subjective words that do not completely describe a given scenario. Try giving an interpretation (provide the chart if you wish) of the scenario. || Namah Shivaaya || vedic astrology, "Sourav Chowdhury" <souravc108> wrote: > > || Hare Rama Krishna || > > Dear Nitin-ji, > Namaskar.
