Dear Richa ji,

 

AL or Arudha of any House can not fall in the house where it's lord

is placed or 7th from it. in that case 'Exception to the general

Rule' comes in to play which is given below

 

-If Arudha falls in the house itself (i.e. if lord of the house is

Swagrahi or 7th from it) then take 10th house from the house in

question.

 

 

I give you an example for the above exceptions for better clarity.

 

1) for ex. 4th house has swagrahi Budha in VERGO and you want to find

ARUDHA of 4th house. in that case with normal Rule ARUDHA should fall

in 4th house itself but it can not fall in the same house and

exception rule comes in to picture and hence the ARUDHA of 4th will

be in 10th from That House hence LAGNA i.e. GEMINI WILL BECOME ARUDHA

OF 4TH HOUSE.

 

2) for ex. Lagna is Dhanu and Lord Ju is placed in 7th house. if you

need to find out Arudha of Lagna (AL) then by general rule It should

fall in Lagna itself but here also due to exception AL WILL FALL IN

10TH HOUSE I.E VERGO.
