Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Dear Manhar, Let's use some convention for differentiating between lordship based reckoning versus Natural. For now I will use the convention as used by Sri O.P Verma in his translation of Laghu Parasari. The Lets call Malefics(Kroora) and benefics(Saumya) for natural nature. Auspicious(Shubha) and InAuspicious(Ashubha or Paapa) for ownership based reckoning. Laghu Parasari (Best traslated by OP Verma) gives rules to analyse these. Now let me give some tips. > 1. Naturally malefic planet (SU, SA, MA and Waning Moon) OWN > 4th 7th or 10th house it became benefic. SanjayP: No they do not become benefics, They become Neutral. Benefics or Malefics when they own quadrants They have to forget their own nature and do the Job. Like 10th house Karma is to be done the same way whether it's Jupiter or Saturn. They cannot show their actual nature when the own Kendra. Like Saturn cannot shun work when he owns 10th house. Or Jupiter cannot start giving to everybody when he is employed. So both benefics and neutral become neutral when they own kendra. So When Jupiter owns a kendra dont expect him to giveout as much. He becomes neutral. > 2. Naturally benefic planet (well associated ME, JU, VE and Full > MO) OWN 4th 7th or 10th house it became malefic. SanjayP: Same as above. > 3. Similarly, Naturally malefic planet (SU, SA, MA and Waning > Moon) OCCUPIES 4th 7th or 10th house it became benefic. > 4. Naturally benefic planet (well associated ME, JU, VE and Full > MO) OCCUPIES 4th 7th or 10th house it became malefic. > 5. Lord of Lagna, Lord of 9th house and Lord of 5th house are > benefic regardless of the nature of planet. SanjayP: All planets when they own a Trikona becomes a Shubha(Auspicious) Graha for the native. It's like this, When a naturally bad person is educated he becomes good. Same is with Trikona. When a planet owns trikona the planet is in pursuit of higher education etc. So both Kroora and Saumya planets become Shubha. > 6. Lord of 11th, Lord of 6th and Lord of 3rd are Malefic > regardless of the nature of planet. SanjayP: Yes, For Trishadaaya(3,6,11), Just like a person who is constantly looking for gains and income, constantly looking for opportunity to fight and show prowess or be inimical to you cannot be Shubha to you. Let it be even a Jupiter then they become Paapa Phala giver. The higher the house number more pronounced is the effect. Like 9th is the best Shubha Graha and 11 the worst Paapa Phala giver. Some opinion that Maybe, Benefics can be less harmful, > 7. Rahu and Ketu occupy any house and Lord of that house is > Malefic or Benefic; Rahu and Ketu will adopt the nature of that lord. SanjayP: Yes, Rahu & Ketu dont have a Bimba or circumference and luminance. > What is the definition of well-associated Mercury? > When planet is combust it became weaker Not malefic? > Debilitated Malefic is weaker and do less harm? > Exalted Malefic is stronger and do more harm? > What is more powerful placement or aspect? Guest guest
Pranam Guru shree Sanjay Prkashji, Thanks for valuable explanation. If Somya or Krura Graha OWN or OCCUPY 4th 7th or 10th house They all became Nuatral. Trinal lords are very Shubha graha, They are best placed in Quadrants or should have some yoga with the Quadrant lord to benefit the native. If two trinal lords are associated with a quandrant then it's even better. Thus you should keep adding and subtracting the good bad and neutral results and give readings. >or a Ashuba graha positioned in Trine? Ashubha Graha who are Trishadaaya(tri(3),shad(6),aaya(11)) are best defeated. They should best be defeated in another Dushtaana(6,8,12) or Trishaadaya places. This is the basis of Vipareeta Raaja Yoga. So now decide what will happen if they are in a Trine? I think you made a typing mistake between words Neutral and Natural. Neutral means 'Sama or Madhya' in Sanskrit Natural means 'Naisargika' Kendra Lords dont do damage or Good by them self. Most planet will own a houses (other that Sun and Moon , Rahu and Ketu). When they own two houses then you have to judge based on both ownership. Like for say Leo lagna Saturn owns 7th and 6th. due to ownership of 7th he is neutral and ownership of 6th he is bad and gives Ashuba results. So combining both Neutral and Ashuba results we should say Saturn will give Ashuba or bad results. Where as Mars owning 4th he has to forget his own malefic nature but owning 9th he is Shubha results giver. So overall he is very Shubha. And a YogaKaaraka, The signifier for great Yoga. Guest guest
Dear Sanjay-ji I respectfully thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. I am still confused about the effects of Trinal lord or Quadrant lord positioned in a Dussthana. One of the examples I had long ago enquired about here was about Raja Yoga in Dusthana (8th house). IN this case the native was Cancer Lagna having Lagna Lord Moon and Yogakaraka Mars in his 8th house. Yes, if Shubha grahas are located in a Quadrant the native benefits. But if the Shubha graha is located in 6/8 or 12 do they give malefic effects? Neutral effects? or do they give the positive aspects of what the house signifies. For intance, in the above example, the Raja Yoga in 8th house can mean the native will inherit somthing that he will rule over (it could be that he will inherit his father's business etc.) However a powerful 8th house on the negative side could mean his logevity is affected and/or the native will have prolonged illnesses etc.? With Ashuba grahas it is more straight forward I guess -- if they are in dussthanas they bring good results by spoling the bad significations of the house. If the Ashuba Graha is in Trinal or Quadrant house, they spoil the good effects of that house. So the question I have is more on the side of Shuba Grahas and their behaviour in a Dus-sthana. Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Dear Sudharshan and Friends, I think problem in understanding is we jump steps. Without understanding lordships you cannot jump to Yoga or union of planets with other planets/rashi/Bhaava(House). First try to understand lordships for each lagna and understand why a planet becomes Shubha(auspicious) phala(fruit) giver. Then you take the next step in understanding yoga. Basic Steps 1. Understand Grahas. (Read and understand 108 Names of each graha) 2. Understand Rashi and their Nature. (Understand Creation of Rashi, 12 Adityas etc) 3. Understand House and Lordships. Group them in Category. 12 Houses can be grouped as a) Trines (Most Auspicious) b) Trishadaaya (most InAuspicious) ,3,6,11 c) 2 and 12 are Neutral. They take the nature of the planet or house they associate with. Like a Person with lots of money is only decided by good or bad by his associations on whom he spends. Like a Rich Brat could spend on drugs and vices or if he is with learned people (9etc) he spends on learning and gather very good fortune. d) 8th is very bad unless associated with Lagna Lord. Paraashara says of all the things to loose, loss of Bhagya is worst. i.e 12th from 9th. Spend some time on these basics for each Lagna and Planet. Working on Basics and then take next step. Foundations should be strong. Guest guest
Guru Shree Sanjayji, Your explanation is great and very valuable to myself and other readers who are student of Vedic astrology. You have explained determination of Shubh – Ashubh nature of planet by OWENERSHIP very well. Does PLACEMENT of the planet play any role to change total nature (Shubha became Ashubha or Ashubha became Shubha) of the planet? Kindly give some examples. vedic astrology, "sanjayprabhakaran" <sanjaychettiar@g...> wrote: > > || Om Gurave Namah || > > Dear Manhar, > > > Pranam Guru shree Sanjay Prkashji, > > Just call me Sanjay, I dont have a Prakash in the end of my name , > > > Thanks for valuable explanation. > > > > If Somya or Krura Graha OWN or OCCUPY 4th 7th or 10th house They all > > became Nuatral. > > Since they are natural, will they not cause affliction to Other > > Shubha or Ashubha Graha by aspect or any kind of association? > > I think you made a typing mistake between words Neutral and Natural. > > Neutral means 'Sama or Madhya' in Sanskrit > Natural means 'Naisargika' > > Kendra Lords dont do damage or Good by them self.
