Guest guest
I have a Saturn-Moon conjunction in my 9th house Dhanus.I was told that the conjunction (although Saturn is retrograde) constitutes a partial Sani-Chandra yoga. Isnt that true of a saturn-moon combination? Besides would it also not indicate a sort of sanyasa yoga?
Guest guest
I have also read that this yoga (saturn-moon aspect) can result in "probhinu yoga" which, esp in a woman's chart, can result in repeated breaking of marriage prospects if one of the planets rule or are in the 7th house. do the gurus on this list have any comments about this? I have this in my chart (sani in makar, 7th house, chandra in meena, 9th house). I have had that happen twice (prospective marriage broken off). can this yoga be broken or managed by any means? rani. vedic astrology, "grimlion59" <grimlion59> wrote: > > > I have a Saturn-Moon conjunction in my 9th house Dhanus.I was told > that the conjunction (although Saturn is retrograde) constitutes a > partial Sani-Chandra yoga. Guest guest
Namaste, Shani and chadra closely conjunct is called punrabhu( some call it punarafu) yoga. This yoga can make a person suddenly pull out of relationship. Some cases are cited where the wedding invitations are mailed verything is ready to go and suddenly the person chages his mind or some event makes the event not happen .... Guest guest
Dear Pandit Ji, Namaskar, I have one chart in my knowledge in which Moon, Saturn and Mars occupies the lagna of Cancer.Moon is lagna lord,Saturn is seventh lord and Mars is yogkaraka. Seventh house is vacant. Does it mean marriage will break. What is role of Moon then being lagna lord and presence of Mars? Does it not break the punarbhu yoga.Hope you will explain it elaborately. The native is still unmarried and she is 29+. Thanks and warm regards. I expect intervention of Guru Visti Ji also. Guest guest
Dear Friends, I have also observed in few cases that Sat+Moon combination caused unexpected delay in marriage or resulted in long-held engagement etc. I think, the theory of Punarphoo is not limited to this issue only. If someone know then please write on it. Moreover, if Moon is solely aspected by Saturn then this makes one malencholic and superstitious. If aspect/association of natural benefics on Moon, is also present then this makes one intelligent, sober and fondness of ancient knowledge. Guest guest
Friends I have Saturn-moon conjunction in Lagna (Meena). It is aspected by Jupiter from 5th House. I can confirm most of what has been discussed here-- 1. I married at the age of 32 which I consider is a late marrige. 2. Makes me meloncholic and a lover of musics by KLSaigal, Talat Mahmood etc. 3. Makes me change my mind suddenly and quite often. 4. I am superstitous 5. Aspect by Jupiter - I am interested in ancient/occultic/religous knowledge. even in school I used to be fond of history and used to score good marks in that subject. Out of interest, I even took a history course as my elective when I studied for my Chemical Engineering in 1987. vedic astrology, Muhammad Imran <astroimran> wrote: > Dear Friends, > > I have also observed in few cases that Sat+Moon > combination caused unexpected delay in marriage or > resulted in long-held engagement etc. > > I think, the theory of Punarphoo is not limited to > this issue only. Guest guest
First of all, you must have given your birth details. Yes, there are such threads which have predictive say and work in isolation despite other astrological combinations. Like Moon-Saturn there are many others say Mer in the 8th, Sat in the 10th etc. We can serialize them and make a research. Guest guest
I read this email and thought about my chart. I have saturn (in mithuna in 9th house) aspecting chandra-mangal (in meena in 6th house - though they are actually in the 7th in bhava chart.) a pundit had mentioned to me that I will be more serious in temperatment and not be as jovial as a result of this aspect. i think it is true. also my second marriage happened recently at the age of 31 (what i actually take as my real marriage, as the first one was very early, brief and painful, and it was not a marriage in the full sense) , so the late marriage part also applies. i have guru aspecting my chandra-mangal from 1/3rd dristi, and i am interested in mysticism, ancient scriptures as well as have a sanyasi temperament...perhaps due to this aspect? or perhaps..because of sani-ketu in the 9th house. but yes, i see a similar situation as what is discussed below, in my life as well. i hope i have been able to contribute somthing. regards, dimpleSudarshan <sudarshan_ji > wrote: FriendsI have Saturn-moon conjunction in Lagna (Meena). Guest guest
Dear Dimple, Please give your data, always. It helps us form a holistic picture. A strong aspect of Saturn on moon itself is sufficient to produce melancholy, ascetic tendencies, detachment from things worldly etc. Sudarshan and you both are requested to post their birth data. Guest guest
I don't know if influence of Jupiter is always ameliorating. I have Jupiter and Moon in the ninth house in Pisces. Saturn (7th Lord) aspects them both from the seventh. I have not gotten married at all. I've come *very* close twice, and each time I have suffered a lack of emotion for the said man at the end and I think, in once instance, it was both ways. after weighing everything, all the pros and the cons, I pulled out. this has afforded my parents MUCH sorrow. and myself as well. but in the end, I have felt no regret as I do believe that these marriages would have been mistakes. but I cannot believe that I am still unmarried. I always thought I'd be married by about 30. I look very young (about 26 or so, I hear) so I still get plenty of 'options'. but somehow, my experience has soured me and makes me think I am "fated" to be alone. the "sanyas" situation is also interesting to me because I also have saturn and ketu in the ninth house in my navamsa. saturn is my atmakaraka, AND my navamsa lord, on top of ruling my rashi 7th and being in the rashi 7th. I guess saturn is the overall theme in my chart. it's denied me happiness. and yet, I *am* social. I like being with people and being around men. but I am also a loner. also, sanjayji, about Punarbhu. when you say that it tends people to marry older people and later. could that also mean an older person with that yoga could marry an younger person? something in the meaning of that word that you outlined -- renewal, etc -- makes me think so. interesting. thank you, all. rani. vedic astrology, "ennaye" <ennaye> wrote: > > If the Saturn -Moon conjunction receives the aspect of a benefic > like Jupiter the effects will be different. > regards, > Neena > vedic astrology, Muhammad Imran > <astroimran> wrote: > > Dear Friends, > > > > I have also observed in few cases that Sat+Moon > > combination caused unexpected delay in marriage or > > resulted in long-held engagement etc. > > > > I think, the theory of Punarphoo is not limited to > > this issue only. Guest guest
Shani-Moon conjunction is only part of the equation which can give very different results depending on degrees and aspects of other planets. For example For Aries Lagna if Sat-Moon Conjunct in Aries and both planet degress are almost same,it will give bad effects to 4th house(could be mother ). Even if Jupiter is aspecting and mars is aspecting it's own house ,the MOON will be afflicted badly. In this case marriage might not be delayed or effected. Sat-Moon Conjunction is not good or bad by itself. Lokesh Praveen Kumar <chunnu2001 (AT) vsnl (DOT) net> wrote: Dear Dimple, Please give your data, always. It helps us form a holistic picture. Guest guest
- For the ameliorating effects its better that Saturn receives the aspect of Jupiter and not vice versa. -- In vedic astrology, "raindancer_1998" <raindancer_1998> wrote: > > I don't know if influence of Jupiter is always ameliorating. Guest guest
||Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Rani-ji, Namaskar. You have revealed very little information about your chart. Sa in own sign in the 7H gives a Sasa Mahapurusa yoga which means "wandering leader of free spirit". Does it apply to you? Your Lagna Lord is in the 9H, shows stronger sense of independance. Jupiter is protecting your Lagna Lord and is a benefic being the 9L. It also forms a very good Gajakesari yoga. Your father is probably a scholarly person. 7L in the 7H will not deny marriage (unless other indications in the chart verify that) and can often give late marriage especially Saturn being that Lord. Lord of the 7H shows your husband, who will probably be older than you by several years and can also show similar tendencies. However being 8L also which is Sa's moolatrikona, Sa can cause some disruptions in sukha (aspect on the 4H) and some melancholic mood especially in the Krishna Paksha. Sa's drishti on Moon gives mood swings. Ju is 9L and aspects 5H and 1st house can give a happy and jovial nature. Jupiter beings the naisargika putra karaka aspecting the 5H can also give children. However, planets in the 5H and Lord of the 5H (Ma and Ke) will decide the final outcome. If Ma is strong, being a yogakaraka, can give children, unless other opposing indications prevail. Sa as AK and Navamsa Lord in the 9H. Being AK and D-9 LL makes Sa a strong component in your chart. Sa as AK shows that you cannot (should not) give/cause sorrow to others and must absorbs others' sorrow. Sa in the 9H with Mokshakaraka Ke shows a very pious, wealthy and resourceful person. However, Sa/Ke together in the trine doesn't automatically show a Tapaswini, for that Venus's position needs to be taken into account. So much can be said from your information. Guest guest
Dear Members, I feel it may not be right to Attribute Delayed marriage to Saturn- Moon relation. i think no yog can exclusively give results of it's own. for example I have Saturn-Moon conjuction in taurus - My marriage happened at 25 years of age - I am not a superstitious at all My friend has Moon-Saturn combination in Aries and he got Married at 22 years of age and he also lacks Superstitions. BV Raman has moon-Saturn in Taurus he i believe he also married at early age. I gave few practical examples for readers advantage. Saturn-moon has it's bright shades also apart from negative qualities such as Mental restless ness, malencholic & sorrowfull nature, Complex (generally Inferiority). bt this -ve shades also not permanent, it can definately cropup in relevent Dasha / Antardasha & also they may be modified by other influences of a chart. If you look at positive angle then the above qualities leads to Detachment, Spiritual mentality, & liking towards Sadhana in Solitude. regads, Pathak vedic astrology, "Sourav Chowdhury" <sourav12@h...> wrote: > > > ||Hare Rama Krishna || > > Dear Rani-ji, > Namaskar. Guest guest
souravji, here's my info: january 19, 1964. 18:33pm IST. 22N32, 88E22. you have very accurately assessed me! I am told I am a happy BUT moody, introspective person. I need my space, as they say. I have also had a difficult time settling into a profession. I seem to have some writing talent and just got an agent for a book I am writing. however, at times, I suffer from great and pervasive insecurity and I can tell it holds me back from achieving what I perhaps could. I feel (and have always felt) some sense of having 'chains around me'. from what little I know, I do seem to have a kalsarpa yoga (12th-6th), and mercury is aspected by rahu (opposition). I have heard that this is bad for marriage as well. also, I might be manglik as well! see, I have all the bad things. my father is a scholarly man, yes. he is an engineer by profession, but he is steeped in the shastras. thank you for your incisive post based on so very little! rani. vedic astrology, "Sourav Chowdhury" <sourav12@h...> wrote: > > > ||Hare Rama Krishna || > > Dear Rani-ji, > Namaskar. Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Pathak-ji, Namaskar. Definitely ! Sa-Mo connection is definitely underrated and only popularly known for its negative effects. Infact the planet Saturn is almost always wrongly perceived. Its significance of discipline and hardwork with control of senses and ascetic attitude of leading life with bare minimum is not as much highlighted as its other materially negative impacts. Many of the variations of the Parivrajya Yogas are formed with Mo and Saturn connections. Tapaswi yoga occurs with Sa, Ve and Ke in mutual konas. Saturn's benific nature and impact is definitely under estimated. Guest guest
Saturn is connected with Moon, thru sig/stat/sub lord, then this phenomenon is said to exist. The Broad Result is "Problems with Marriage" like Broken Engagement, Postphoning of the marriage date etc. Researc is on to find specific result. Guest guest
Dear All, As discussion is going on related with delayed and broken marriages, I think I should put my brother case, which is pretty interseting. Following are the birth detail of my brother DOB JUN 22, 1973 TOB 10:55 AM POB Gwalior (78E10,26N14) His marriage broken twice,(after sagai is over, in both cases) and finally he got married in DEC on third attempt. In his kundli, lord of 7th house saturn is in 11th house with sun, ketu and venus. Also, Maars is in eigth, which makes him strong mangli. The shani-surya yuti is interesting, as it is lagnesh and jayesh combination. His rashis is also saturn. But I can't figure out the resone for his broken marriage, could this be of because Maars, which is not linked in any way to 7th house Or it is saturn-sun combination ? At the time of his first attempt, it was saturn mahadasha and sun antardasha, that makes me believe that this combination of sun-saturn was the culprit. Thanks, Ashish vedic astrology, "Sourav Chowdhury" <sourav12@h...> wrote: > > || Hare Rama Krishna || > > Dear Pathak-ji, > Namaskar. Definitely ! Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Rani-ji, Namaskar. Assuming your birth time is accurate to 1 minute, here are my very brief comments below. 1. Me is behind Ke and hence Kaalasarpa yoga is broken Also there is a grahamalika yoga (chain of four or more planets occupying successive houses), that is initiated with Me. Hence writing books or communicating will bring about the triggering of this yoga and finally (after certain amount of tribulations, be sure of that) will end in the Jupiter/Moon Gajakesari yoga of fame, and fortune (Ju-Mo being 5th from AL). So no need to loose heart. A3 conjoins 6H with Me, showing book writing. Aspects of Rahu show wrong desires or ill effects caused by wrong desires. If you conciously avoid them and pray to the almightly, you will be alright. 2. Ma Yogakaraka and is exalted in the 7H of fame and foreign travel. You might go abroad. 3. Sun is present in the 5H but weak being in an enemy's rasi. You may do well chanting Surya Gayatri at sunrise and sunset starting on a Sunday. Sun the lord of 2H and may help in bringing about the marriage. The only conflict in this house is the presence of Sun with Saturn and Mars being in the maranakarakasthana. Strengthening Sun is important. 4. Your Moon is in good company but very weak being in rasi sandhi. It would be good is you can make a remedy for strengthening Moon. Fasting on Thursdays (morning to evening), only if health permits, and praying to Sri Vishnu and Sri Lakshmi can strengthen your Upapada Lagna that also houses Mo and can bring about marriage. 5. You can be definitely agressive through speech. Three malefics in the third to AL. 6. Current Ketu dasa will be benefic and overall good. Just watch out for the period between October 2005 and November 2006 as it co incides with Rahu antardasa. Wish you best, Regards, Sourav ===================================================================== vedic astrology, "raindancer_1998" <raindancer_1998> wrote: > > souravji, > > here's my info: january 19, 1964. 18:33pm IST. 22N32, 88E22. > > you have very accurately assessed me! Guest guest
Satyam Bruyat Priyam Bruyat, Dear Rani, Can you attach your chart please, may help in learning. Dear Imran, Your observation, does it pertain to placement in 9H or any house? Thanks and regards Ramesh vedic astrology [vedic astrology]On Behalf Of raindancer_1998 Wednesday, April 20, 2005 11:18 PM vedic astrology [vedic astrology] Re: Saturn-Moon conjunction I don't know if influence of Jupiter is always ameliorating. Guest guest
In this case the problem was small and may be due to close aspect of Mars on 7th lord. 7th lord is in the Nakshatra of Mars too. Mercury dasa of your brother will be very good financially, through partnership if he is in business / may go abroad. He will face serious problem in child-birth. Now, please answer the following for my studies: 1) Is your brother struggling during present Saturn dasa ? 2) Are your brother's in-laws from a distant city ? Any other kind of alien qualities to his wife ? 3) Is your brother handsome, has jocular / witty nature ? What is his height ? Praveen kumar (Mumbai) - matri51 vedic astrology 21, 04, 2005 11:56 AM [vedic astrology] Re: Saturn-Moon conjunction Dear All,As discussion is going on related with delayed and broken marriages, I think I should put my brother case, which is pretty interseting. Following are the birth detail of my brotherDOB JUN 22, 1973TOB 10:55 AMPOB Gwalior (78E10,26N14)His marriage broken twice,(after sagai is over, in both cases) and finally he got married in DEC on third attempt. In his kundli, lord of 7th house saturn is in 11th house withsun, ketu and venus.
