Guest guest
I am very very novice in astrology.I greatly respect Shri BV Raman,Shri KN Rao and Pt Sanjay Rath.I also believe you have much more knowledge than me regarding astrology.; However Chota Muh Badi baat- let us not criticize anyone.Directly or indirectly.Everyone has their thought process and is allowed to keep it and express it.The shastras wont change, but since we are in the dark age of Kaliyuga - we all read differently. What is the truth can be said only when it manifests..we are all (including the great people I mentioned) just trying our best to interpret them. The Gurus of SJC may have faltered somewhere( Though I am not aware),but they have succeeded indeed in becoming GURUS becauase the duty of Guru is to create interest in a student and lead him the right path which they have done through direct teaching or articles on web or international conferences. What they are saying may not be BrahmVakya(which cannot be altered),but they have created reverence for themselves in the heart of millions by their humilty(refer to any of Pt Rath's articles or Shri Narsimha's articles or emails..) They have demonstrated that knowledge can be attained through humility. This is what I have learnt from them.I have a long way to go ..(I have not even Read COVA as of yet...),but the what you said about SJC Gurus has hurt me and many others deeply and I feel I must express this to you. Remember Guru Dronacharya was not perfect...but it is the devotion of Ekalavya which makes him reverent.Students such as Visti Larsen, Shri Narsimha have uphold the reverence of Shri Pt Rath.I dont know him(Pt Rath) personally, but I can guess what he has to teach by looking at his students. regards Suchitra Please dont take any offense. It is not meant to hurt you. No, it is not like you had mentioned. Shri K.N.Rao never says, "His COIN> alone is authentic". He always encourages research saying that 'astrology is> a vast ocean' and one birth is a very short duration to understand even a> little. He tests every concept exhaustively before forming an opinion about> that. If you have read his books, you must know that he had great respect> for Andhra astrologer Vemuri Ramamurthi, for his predictive calibre not for> any mumbo-jumbo concepts. He had openly accepted him much superior to> himself and tried to learn his methods with 'limited success'.> About his anger, you may be partially right. Then you should know that many> Indian Rashis (Vishwamitra, Parshuram etc.) too are known for their> arrogance. It won't belittle their other qualities. He becomes angry for> one's mercenary considerations only. B.V.Raman tried to force his Ayanamsa> on K.N.Rao's school (for vested interests) which had irritated him. Anybody> doing any damage to astrology always irritates him. As I know, he was> irritated by misguiding translation of 'Upadesa Sutra' by Sanjay Rath and> with many other faulty concepts of his school. Proper reply to such things> is to prove usefulness of your concepts and as it is concerned with fortune> telling, it can be nothing but predictions only. > If you don't know, I will like to tell you that he had retired from one of> india's premium civil service (IAAS). He had led a very simple life (like a> saint) and didn't have enough money for buying a house in Delhi at the time> of retirement. Others make millions in the same position. Then, he has> devoted his life to re-establish astrology, like a rishi. That is why I call> him a saint and a rishi astrologer. He never visits US to make millions by> giving psychological bluff to ignorant westerners. For him, astrology is a> 'Sadhana'. > But all this should not be a point here. What I had emphasised is that> astrology is a science / art of fortune telling. If you can't do that> everythingelse is meaningless. Today's self proclaimed Gurus should> demonstrate their predictive competence convincingly to justify their Guru> status which they are never doing. I myself (and many others) had this> experience here with two so called SJC gurus. Shri K.N.Rao never adorned> himself with the word 'Guru'. He prefers to call himself as the guide /> teacher interpreting higher meaning for the word 'guru'.> Last but not the least, if you listen to Shri K.N.Rao speaking even for half> an hour, you won't ask any more questions. This is all. I won't reply to any> such mails any more. Plan great trips with Travel: Now over 17,000 guides!
