Hare Rama Krishna

Dear Partha Guru,

Interesting one about Kumbhakarna! Is it that too many benefics in the

12th house or some bhojana/nidra avastha kind of combo, which made him

known for his voracious eating/prolonged sleep!

Tamas is evident, but would be interesting to read your comments.

Dear Sir

Ramayan can be read as a story, but also symbologically.

The three brothers Ravana, Kumbhakarna and Vibheeshana represent the

three states

Ravana represents the nidra avastha, Kumbhakarna the Sushupta(Deep

sleep) and Vibheeshana the jaagrita Avastha

Planets in friend house are nidra

In own house jagrita

In enemy house Sushupta

Rama is the Sun, Sita the Moon.

We can take the entire study for chakra angle also, which i will deal

in some other post.

At present we can understand the story in philosophical way

that is When The atma(Rama) identifies with the Body(Sita), then when

lower elements try to take sway of the Nature, and succeed, then the

only rescuing factor is Courage(Mars-hanuman) and Wisdom( Jambavanta).

You can defeat the Lower elements like Ravana and Kumbhakarna through

the help of Gyana(Vibhishana), Vibheeshana also represents the Atma

Gyan etc.

More later

best wishes

Dear Partha

Brilliant interpretation drawn from the classic. I guess further work

on this will unravel many yogas. My mind went to the fire set by

Hanuman and was wondering what a meeting (drishti) it was, between Sita

(Moon) and Himself (Mars)!

I am sure you have set many minds to think.

Best wishes

It reminded me of an explanation from 'Gospel'

Sri Thakur : " Ram is Brahma walking Ahead, Sita is Mahamaya in between &

Lakshaman is a Jeev behind. as long as Maya is in between, Jeev can not see

Brahm though he is so near "

thanks for triggering few holy thoughts
