Guest guest Posted April 15, 2005 Report Share Posted April 15, 2005 I keep reading different verdicts on which is the house of father.Some say 9 , some 10.I came across an interesting article on ( if I am not wrong abt the website) www.jyotishvidya.com and it gives good logic on why house of father is 10 house.(7th from 4th etc-husband of mother) Also why 9 house as father clicks in some cases as in south India woman is married to maternal uncle in many cases so 6th from 4th (=9th) would be father. However in this forum when learned Gurus refer to 9 as house of father I get confused.Some say since father is guru and Guru is seen from 9th -it should be 9th....... Please advise!!!
