Dear Richa-ji,

Namaskar. Apologies for late reply. The Prasiddha

Gayatri Mantra (Rig Veda 3.62.10) is as below:

 

(Om) Tat Savitur Varenyam Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi(.) Dhiyo Yo Nah

Prachodayat(.)

 

Translation: O! Savitur (Creator and Lord of All), we praise Thee as

the Cause of Brilliant Sunshine (that burns away our sins) and the

Omnipresent Giver (of life, sustenance and purity).

 

Starting Sunday, at Sunrise and before sunset, pray to the Sun God

three times with this mantra (facing the east and west respectively).

Then please do 108 times of the following Ashtakshari Mantra :

 

Om Grinih Indra Aditya

 

You can use a maalaa for the purpose of recitation if you know how to

use one (there are some specific details you need to know), else,

utter the mantra in mind and count on fingers.

 

At the end of chanting, a silent prayer for the wellbeing of your

child can be done. The success in chanting or meditating all and only

depends on concentration and devotion.
