I know about rashi drishti that fixed sign aspects on movable sign, movable sign aspects on fixed signs while dual sign aspects on dual sign. Now i want to know that is this influnce is 100% and planets also in it aspects 100%?? So is it like a planet aspects 100% to 7th from it??????????? Another question I want to know that aries/leo/sagittarius=Fiery sign Taurus/virgo/capricorn=airy sign gemini/libra/aquarius=earthy sign cancer/scorpio/pisces=watery sign now i want to know travelling by air is possible if lagna is in airy sign or is the dasa and antr-dasa of airy sign is seeing for travelling by air? what is the karakas for trevelling by air/train/ship???????????? But I want to know that according to this description I come to know that Rashi drishti is very important in reading a horoscope, so if a rashi is in 5th house is dual sign so it will hv an impact on 8th house,11th house,2nd house just want to confirm that the planets presents in these bhava will be effected by the planet/planets occupied by 5th.... Sorry i wrongly write thanxs for correction ,airy sign are Gemini/Libra/Aquarius and karaka for air travelling is saturn so sir o find out from a chart that this native will hv air travelling we hv to see these signs and saturn..................Sorry for again bothering.... Guest guest Posted April 13, 2005 Report Share Posted April 13, 2005 No doubt, rashi drishti attains great importance in Jyotish, but I am still skeptic in giving ascendency to rashi drishti over graha drishti. Because; a) Most of the Nadi grahant based on graha drishti rather rashi drishti. I did not confront any translation of Nadi that gave preference to rashi drishti to delineat a chart. b) Nakshatra (specially vinshottari) dasha can be better explain by using graha drishti. c) Traditionally for strength calculating etc. graha drishti has always been precisely computed. d) Graha drishti has more rational mechanism than rashi drishti. And it depends upon the nature of the aspecting graha (i.e body) and deeptamsha (i.e. orb) . Rashi drishti is naturally existed among signs, whether a sign is occupied by a planet or not. It is akin to apriori static link. While graha drishti constitutes adopted dynamic link. Static connections are universal for all set of char, sthir and dual signs and indicate natural trends rather realizations. For example; all fixed signs lagnas (Ta, Le, Sc, Aq) get and cast rashi drishti to all the movable sings, excluding adjecent one, (i.e. 3rd, 6th, 9th from them=> panaphara). While all movable lagnas (Ar, Cn, Li, Cp) get and cast rashi drishti to all fixed signs excluding adjecent one. (which become 5th, 8th, 11th from them=> apoklima). Similarly dual signs as connected with remaing dual signs (i.e. 4th, 7th, 10th=> kendara). Morveover, the hypothesis that 'rashi drishti indicates permenant effects while graha drishti shows merely desires/plans' do not prove 'significantly' true in most of the real life cases. Instead, I've found rashi dasha reliable when using Rashi Dasha. In my humble view, graha drishti should have key word acquired influence rather desires. Even if we think graha drishti as 'desires' than it should be borne in mind that 'dreams and desires' are the root of any action.
