Guest guest
Friends, Retrogression is one of the 8 possible state of planetary movement. Any graha attains significant strength to react when comes into retrogression, like a car in reverse gear. So if a planet is good in chart its goodness would enhance more, and if bad it would become more evil, ie. retrogression implied intensified results. Dasha/bukhti of retrograde grahas manifest greater impact of 'fate' rather 'free will'. There are two approaches to consider a retrograde planet. 1) A retrograde planet is supposed to give result of 7th from it. For example, Venus retrograde in Pisces means Venus is in Virgo. Jupiter retrograde in 8th produces effect, like it is in 2nd. 2) Another approach says that a retrograde planet akin to yield effect of 12th from it. For example Saturn in retrograde in 7th house gives result akin to place in 6th house. Many authorities do agree to former viewpoint (1). So when a planet is retrograde in sign of exaltation, it is assumed to give effect of debilitation. And retrograde in sign of debilitation may akin to placed in sign of exaltation. This is because, sign of debilitation always fall seventh from sign of exaltation, and vice versa, for all grahas. Natural malefics when debiliated and retrograde in angle/trine are assumed good while natural benefics when debiliated and retrograde in angle/trine are considered inauspicious.
