Re Is GajaKesari yoga so good?-Dwisaptati sama dasa

Dear Lakshmi Ji

There is a celebrity chart in the Atmakaraka article by Sanjayji, who

is a makara lagna. He is Salman Khan.

Now Dwisaptati Sama dasa applies in his case, as the 7th lord is in

lagna. Surya mahadasa from 1998 is running, and the guy seems to be

landing in trouble ever since then. Ofcourse he had troubles earlier

also, but sun dasa has been unforgiving. sun is in 12th house for him.

For listmembers

Dwisaptati sama dasa works quite well. The condition is that 7th lord

in lagna, or lagna lord in 7th. Try this. For people having this

condition every 9 years there is a major event in their life.

Look at Salman's case again, his first major film Maine Pyaar Kiya was

released in 1989 Rahu mahadasa just started. Rahu is in fifth

conjoined A2, and also Ghati lagna.

Dear Partha ji,

I wanted to clarify something regarding the application

of Dwisaptati dasha and other similar dashas. The case of Vimsottari

from moon seems to signify our reaction to the world and Vimsottari

from lagna (when lagna has more planets in kendra) seems to signify

our actions. Based on this I have the following questions:

1. What does the Dwisaptati dasha signify?

2. What if more than one dasha is applicable (for ex Dwisaptati,

Shastihayani)?

3. What are the differences that you can see between Vimsottari (say

from lagna) and the dwisaptati (when its applicable)?

Dear Karthik

Nice to see good queries in this group. I have seen only "please see

my chart" kind of queries for long time. The group was meant to

discuss concepts, but is increasingly becoming a free service portal.

There are different types of Conditional dasas, and each conditional

dasa signifies a particular "theme".

Dwisaptati Sama dasa signifies the theme as "Desire". The person born

with this condition has a strong desire to fulfill. The position of

Moon and ketu are important to find out what the desire is all about.

Recently Narasimha has posted the order of the dasas that need to be

considered if more than one conditional dasa is applicable. We have

to see which conditional dasa is rarer(in terms of population) and

that conditional dasa would fit. Ofcourse there are riders, and you

should read Vimshottari and Udu Dasas by Pt.Sanjay Rath for more

details.

The normal vimshottari(moon/lagna) would show the general picture.

Whereas the Dwisaptati if applicable would show the theme of the

desire fructification.

Dear Partha ji,

Thank you for answering the question. I have an additional

question though : Why are the moon and ketu given importance in this

regard (is it because ketu signifies anti-rebirth while moon

signifies the mind's desire?)and do the postion of moon and ketu

imply the desire or is it indicated by their lordships?

I will try to read Sanjay ji's book to see if I can find

further details.

Then you are not trying properly. Dont worry i have downloaded the

(5) Dwisaptati sama dasa (16%): Applicable if lagna lord is in 7th or

if 7th lord is in lagna

(6) Shashtihayani dasa (8%): Applicable if Sun is in lagna

(7) Dwadasottari dasa (16%): Applicable if lagna is in an amsa of

Venus [note: I did not find this dasa working consistently]

(8) Ashtottari dasa (25%): Applicable if (a) Rahu is in a quadrant or

trine from lagna lord, but not placed in lagna and (b) birth occurred

in Sukla paksha in night time or in Krishna paksha in day time.

(9) Shodasottari dasa (50%): Applicable if lagna is Moon's hora and it

is Krishna paksha or if lagna is in Sun's hora and it is Sukla paksha.

(10) Shattrimsa sama dasa (50%): Applicable if lagna is Moon's hora

and it is night time or if lagna is in Sun's hora and it is day time.

There are many other dasas like Yogini dasa, Kalachakra dasa, Narayana

dasa, Chara dasa, Trikona dasa, Drigdasa, Yogardha dasa, Moola dasa,

Sudarsana chakra dasa etc. But the most applicable nakshatra dasa

(from among the ten dasas listed above) can always be the first dasa

to try.
