Guest guest
Hi Everyone I have been contemplating on the issue of Modi who has made a name for himself due to controversey. He came to prominence following the Gujarat riots. His arrogance led to severe anger and there was a decision to remover him following the electoral debacle nationally. Then Vajpayee shouted against him which led the RSS/VHP to close ranks in supporting him. Recently, the rebels in Gujarat raised a hue and cry over Modi. Just then came the visa denial due to the leftist Biju Mathew. Suddenly, everyone came to his defence. From the common man to the Prime Minister and all parties joined hands in condemning the US action and support for Modi got strong. Since controversey only makes Modi stronger, I'm wondering whether this is a case of VRY. I'd also like to remind members of the prediction made by Lachman Das Madan who had predicted that Modi would lose power in 2004. Modi was indeed threatened due to rebels etc but that prediction has failed to come true. The opposition to him has only made his position stronger.
