Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Sia Please do us a favor by asking that astrologer this question. Let us see if he has any answer. If possible ask him whether this has to be done with some mantra or without mantra, and if so then which mantra should be recited while making the offering. Should this be made at an occasion like a Puja or just like a donation to say, UNICEF. Who should be the recipient of the daanam (not dh, its daanam the later means wealth). In case he does not have a satisfactory answer, start reciting 'om namaù shivaaya' 108 times everyday. Guest guest
Dear Rathji, Thanks for your response. The astrologer has suggested to give daanam to Brahmin on any Sunday. He has not asked me to recite any mantra. My doubt is, whether I should give daanam every Sunday or once a month or only once? since I am not sure for how long the effect of daanam remains. Please suggest. Thanks Sia vedic astrology, "Sanjay Rath" <guruji@s...> wrote: > > > Jaya Jagannatha > Dear Sia > > Please do us a favor by asking that astrologer this question. Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Sia Its upto you and your means. A handful of broken rice was enough to satisfy Jagannath Sri Krishna the Lord of all, yet todays world requires more daanam more frequently as the giver and the reciever do not have the purity. Give it at a temple. That’s my advise (temple - Sun) or a Gurdwara.
