Namaste Vijaydas,

 

I like the way you have synthesized your questions. You have a good

knowledge of what parashar said and more importantly you have studied

what works in real practice and what is tenuous theorizing. Although

there is nothing wrong in theorizing or experimenting with various

techniques, there is a danger of it being promoted as new technology !

If you have followed the posts on this subject on this list you may

have read some of the opinions opposing the use of arudhas or

calculating dashas in divisional charts. As you have aptly noticed,

once the event is known with 3 kinds of lagans, 5 kinds of dashas,

chara karaka, sthira karaka..I mean the list is endless..one can see

ANY event in ANY chart. But when one has to predict on a live chart,

meaning a real life query about the future....things will become very

hard using all these parameters and plethora of charts. ( i am sure

there are a few like PVRji, Chandrashkharji who can predict..please

donot start sending hate mail to me)

 

What you said about guru vandan and guru ninda is absolutely correct.

If you had followed the discussions about the question I asked about

what house will you use for fathers' death as all 12 have been covered

using 9th and arudh of 9th and 9th from sun etc...There were people

who were more interested in attacking the questioner than tackling the

question. They do not ponder the question, they see a question as an

attack on whatever parampara/guru they are following and try to

discredit the questioner.

 

Anyway I don't know how young you are , but you have a good

inquisitive mind and a penchant for asking the right questions and

persistence to see to it that you get an answer..All good qualities I

must say.
