Advise for son requested.

My son, Siddhartha:

was diagnosed with a learning disability last summer. He had received

a scholarship to a competitive and very expensive college at age 16,

but flunked out the second semester. He is now back at the school and

has his scholarship back, but is having trouble because of the bad

habits and emotional problems he developed dealing with his, what was

for many years, undiagnosed learning disability.

 

I am worried about him getting through this semester. He is talented

in music, has always been able to write it, since a child. The songs

he showed me last week were the best yet and filled with a

bhakti/karuna rasa.

 

Please give advise as to what remedies would be beneficial for him. He

seems to be in a dream world and not taking his studies seriously

enough. He wants to do well but seems unable. He is very altruistic

and wants to help the world for the better. I am very grateful for a

spiritual experience he said he had last Shiva Ratri night.. I prayed

to Shiva that night for him! And repeated the five syllable mantra

plus the pranava. And thought nothing more of it.

 

Sidarth did not even know that it was the night of Shiva, as he

doesn't follow it. He told me he experienced a powerful spiritual

experience on that night - Shiva Ratri, two nights ago now, without me

mentioning anything. He told his father and his father told me. Then I

confirmed it with him. He was up all night and told me his friend and

he received Shaktipat Diksha. His father and I both practiced yoga,

and my ishta devata is Siva, but my son said he never believed in it

himself until the other night. He said he received the grace of God!

 

Does the chart confirm this?

 

Could someone give a chart reading that would help me know how to

guide him and what to expect. And what I can best do to help him.

For some reason, this did not get posted to the group. I am resending.

I have now heard from his academic advisor that he hasn't done any

work, nor turned in the work he did over the week long break. The Dean

may decide he has to leave the school. Monday, the day of the

stationary Saturn at 25 degrees Gemini, is the day his father and I

plan to visit the school.

 

Any helpful advise would be greatly appreciated. He is supposed to,

according to his chart, have a very good education. I was also told he

would have problems until his early twenties.

 

Please tell me what you see.
