Hi Mark I am having lots of Ups and downs and uncertainity in my career. The moment i think that things are stablizing now some sudden change comes and changes the whole scenario. Please help me to analyse and what can lies ahead. Also any remedy you suggest. As per your suggestion i did donated at temple so not to have karmic debt. Attached is the JHL File. We could start a new trend, and start focusing on the positives. To answer your question, 'yes, Jupiter's power, as in every Planet does depend on what houses it rules. Anytime, Jupiter ends up ruling the 3rd, 6th, 8th or 12th houses, supposedly, it's 'power' may be less. But, don't forget there's always exceptions. Take my chart, for example. Jupiter is in the 6th, and normal rule of thought would be that Jupiter would be weak. However, Jupiter's in Pisces in my 6th, so I have great health, I have great healing abilitity, and any enemy's that come my way, I see, okay, at winning.... Oh, yes, Jupiter also rule's my 3rd house, so signfications like younger brothers and sisters, is... I have 5 other younger brothers and sisters, and we're all very close. Therefore, also look at the Sign that Jupiter's in. Is it in a 'friendly sign'? Is it in it's Own House? Is it Exalted? And how is it functioning in the Navamsa chart, and other divisionals? For example I know a few people with 'debilitated' Jupiter's in their Rasi charts, but their lives are very spiritual which indicates that their Jupiters, should be stronger. In one friends case, his Navamsa Jupiter was Exalted, so that quite dramatically influened his weaker Jupiter in the Rasi chart. I asked him, and it helped that he knew his Jyotish, as well, I said: "How does it feel?, or what do you think it means that your Jupiter's in Capricorn?" "I think it means that I make the mistake of looking for materialistic solutions to life's situations, first. Since I've grown up more, and knowing my jyotish, helped that. But, since I've stopped this, things have improved a lot for me." And finally, it does seem to matter how what houses Jupiter is in, .... in addition to the Houses that it rules. And it also matters what Planets Jupiter is influencing. There are good yogas for example, when Jupiter is aspecting the Moon or Sun, or in the same houses of the Rising, and Moon or Sun.... One of my sisters has an exalted Jupiter in her chart. And I fully expected her to do more with her great Jupiter. But, the other planets seemed to predominate, and it was almost as if she didn't have that quality. However, whenever I talked to her of spiritual interests, I always enjoyed watching her eyes, and face light up. I took this to represent her strong Jupiter. In her case, too, there was so 'active' aspect of her great, potentially, Jupiter, upon her other planets, like the very important Moon or Sun. Thanks for asking a great question. Quite fun to focus on the positives, for a change! hehehe ps... one more thought..... This conversation doesn't even begin to cover, what can happen when you begin to strengthen the Jupiter, in your chart. Jupiter is the primary planet of all 'Transformations' and improvements, so when you begin to learn how to literally, change and improve 'Jupiter'... all kinds of good and great things can happen, where before Jupiter was not so powerful!
