Guest guest
Respected Guruji's & friends, I have been often reading that even if one can predict the future events with 80% accuracy, it is a mark of excellent astrologer. In this regard, I would like to narrate one real life incident which happened with my dad. This happened in around 1970 in Delhi, India. My father's colleague one day took him to an astrologer ( astrology was his hobby and was not famous for that! - he was working in some government department.). The astrologer as usual asked for the D/T/P of birth and asked my dad to come the next day.He gave my dad a single paper on next day on which he had written what would happen in next 10 yrs very tersely. Now what is amazing is that, in next 10 yrs, the events unfolded just as he had written on that paper. not even a single line was incorrect. We had that paper with us but lost it a few years back, otherwise I would have produced the verbatim of it. He predicted when my father will go to foreign( exact year), when he will get married, the number of children( 3 daughter, one son - each in which year.), when he will build his own house. He even predicted that the third daughter would prove very lucky for him and would come from heavens( I am not sure of this :-). - her ninth house lord is conjunct with 5th house lord in the 5th house itself. My father sometime after that started taking lessons( he had to leave them in-between due to Job responsibilities) from Krishnamurthy( of KP padhiti), who at that time used to teach at Bharitya vidhya bhavan Delhi. Shri Krishnamurthy used to tell that one cannot become a good astrologer by mere reading..God blessing is very important. Being myself a student of astrology( a beginner), I am still amazed at the accuracy of the predictions. I sometimes ponder on what method he could have used to predict with such accuracy... Regards to all, Hari
Guest guest
Dear Hari I had a similar incidence in my life which turned me from a non beleive in astrology to a beleiver as initialy I would vehemantly argue with people and link them with superstition. I lost my first child and it was a still born. My friend visited me and was forcing me to consult an astrologer and I was not ready for it. He spoke to my mother and took my/my wife's horoscope and went to consult the astrologer on my behalf. The astrologer refused to tell him anything about me and insisted that he can only tell the Jataka in person. I had to visit this astrologer under pressure from my family and had a sitting with him. what he told me on that day at verbatim ( sorry no written records except my & my wife's charts) unfolded with exact accuracy. That knidled my interest in learning this vidya. You will not beleive he did not even charge me anything and requested that I donate the money to a temple. Also imagine he had no such advanced jyotish tools to look in to all different varga charts and he just read my manualy calculated Rasi/Navamsa charts which of course had to be rectified for birth time later when the advanced tools were available. Also he only used Vimsottari dasa scheme starting from Moon. I do remember guru Narasimha mentioning that there are some thing known as 'Intution' and 'vak Siddhi' which also plays an important role apart from the knowledge of jyotisham. you may find some clues in D27 which shows one's inner strengths and weaknesses, and D24 which will unfold ones siddhi in this knowledge. Guest guest
How true!. That is what is surprising... the time of incident that I narrated in my earlier post is around 1970..at that time the computers were just beginning to show up( even in USA ) for general computing use.. and that astrologer predicted so accurately. One thing I would like to mention which may have escaped from the observation of some, is that, at the time of prediction my father was not married.. how then he predicted the exact children details( without my mother's chart)!. Some things in life are truly unfathomable. One thing I have come to realize( from own personal experience) is that, "what is destined to happen is already planned by the Great planner of this universe and will happen". Even as I am corresponding with you was destined..I have enough personal experience to corroborate that. Regards Hari P.S: you mention of D-27 and D-24 seems to be relevant, the only hitch is that how often the birth time are recorded to accurate minute details. Anyway will try to look into that aspect. Thanks for the info. - Lakshman Brahma vedic astrology Wednesday, March 09, 2005 4:57 PM Re: [vedic astrology] A real life incident Dear HariI had a similar incidence in my life which turned mefrom a non beleive in astrology to a beleiver asinitialy I would vehemantly argue with people and linkthem with superstition.
