Guest guest
Respected Members, I have a question. In the natal rasi chart, the occupation of any bhava by the corresponding natural significator is considered bad by many astrologers. For instance, Jupiter occupying 5th house in the natal rasi chart is regarded as inauspicious for the native's children. There is infact a sanskrit verse on this dictum, which, if I am not wrong, goes like this "karako bhava nasaka:". The presence of an inherent benefic like Jupiter in the 5th house is extremely good for the native. Why would it be not good for children ? Can anybody explain the logic behind this dictum ? Regards, Vijayanand. ______________________ India Matrimony: Find your life partner online Go to: http://.shaadi.com/india-matrimony
Guest guest
Dear Vijayanand, There is opinion, that karaka in this verse means chara karaka (atmakaraka, dapakarkaa etc.) with regards, Rafal > > I have a question. > > In the natal rasi chart, the occupation of any bhava > by the corresponding natural significator is > considered bad by many astrologers. Guest guest
Dear Vijayanand, read what jataka Parijata says about 5th house and Jupiter below. From first line alternate line is in Sanskrit99 fonts. mInSwae=TyLp sNtaníapSw k«CÀsNtit>, ménastho'tyalpa santänaçcäpastha kåcchrasantatiù| AsNtit> k…lIrSwae jIv> k…MÉe n sNtit>.30. asantatiù kulérastho jévaù kumbhe na santatiù||30|| puÇSwane k…lIre va mIne k…MÉe zrasne, putrasthäne kulére vä méne kumbhe çaräsane| iSwtae yid suracayRStT)l k…ête n&[am!.31. sthito yadi suräcäryastatphala kurüte nåëäm ||31|| Jupiter in Pisces gives alpa (few) children, in Sagittarius problematic and none in Cancer and Aquarius. Guest guest
Dear Vijayanand, Brhat Parasara Hora Sastra as translated by Harihar Majumdar has the following shlokas in the Chapter on Curses: putrasthanagate jive paripurna balanvite lagneshe bala sanyukte putrayoga ime smrita. (ch 21 shloka 116) If Jupiter with complete strength is in the fifth, and the lagna lord is strong, then there is bahuputra yoga. Putrasthane tadishe va gurau va shubhavikshite shubhena sahite vapi vahuputram samadishet If the fifth lord or Jupiter is in the fifth house conjoined or aspected by benefics, then there is bahupuyra yoga. Just to show one must be open to all possibilities of interpretations.
