I currently reside in cincinnati, USA. Have given my birth details below. I've been suffering from some kind of chronic mental illness, specifically speaking anxiety disorder over the past 8 months. I've been running rahu maha dasha and rahu sub dasha...over the past 2.5 yrs. Can someone interpret and let me know as to why it has occured and when will the problems be sorted out. I'm also been actively looking for a job from april 2004 which hasn't happened till now....Had a number of interviews and it all failed. Could someone please brief me about the time and chances that job might occur...and life would be peaceful....Help me out...please... The sun the other factor of vitality is closely conjunct rahu, whose dasha you are running. The rahu-guru dasha would be better than rahu rahu. That will start in july 2005. Guru is also 10th lord so some movement in career would be expected. Guru is also 9th lord from chandra. Guru however is afflicted by mangal and shani so the improvement will be slow. Good luck .... The problems that you have faced in the last 2.5 years of so, can be attributed to what is called "kantaka Sani", which is akin to walking with an iron thorn in the foot. Having recovered from the effects of Sade Sathe (7.5 years of Sani's affliction), your "kantaka Sani" started with Sani transiting your natal lagna. It is possible you made many mistakes during this period. It is possible that frustration level reached a summit during this period. How is your mother's health? Since Sani has affected Satya pita, the remedy recommended is chanting the Gayatri mantra. Chant it (a minimum of 108 times both morning and evening) and you will find all your anxieties will vanish sooner than you realise. Gayatri mantra (Om Bhur, Bhuvah, Svah..Tat Savitur....) is not only the most powerful mantra but the highest Guru mantra as well. It will calm your mind and provide you with lots of peace. Chanting of a Mahaganapathy mantra followed by Sri Rudram-Chamakam daily will surely help. Note Jupiter is also severely afflicted by Saturn and Mars and this is considered as the curse of a brahmin (from past birth). I have learnt that effects of such a curse can be reduced/removed by the following: 1. Praying to Lord Shiva regularly (Sri Arunachaleswara Temple at Tiruvannamalai-the abode of Sri Ramana Maharishi). You can start tomorrow, by chanting "Om Namah Shivaaya" as much as possible. You may also chant "Om Arunachaleswaraya Namah". This is a profound mantra. 2. Offering annadhanam to 11 brahmins, to their utmost satisfaction. If you are a brahmin, do your sandhyavandana daily and properly. That by itself will protect you. When Saturn transits Kataka which contains two fierce enemies, Sun and Rahu, in order to meet the challenges offered by Sun and Saturn, you may chant "Om Satyanarayanaya Namah" 108 times everyday. If possible, you may attend Satyanarayana pujas. Do no sulk or lose heart. Have faith. All of us learn lessons here. Job prospects can show up around 3rd week of March and May this year. Transit Jupiter aspects your mantrapada. You are running Rahu-Rahu-Venus and Rahu happens to be your bhratrikaraka. Your Sun is eclipsed by Rahu. Sun cannot provide you "light" without the blessings of Jupiter- the Guru! You will understand this, with passage of time. Get ready to encounter a Guru soon in your journey of life. Had a no of interviews but nothing went my way. I'm done with my masters in Industrial engineering.. and would like to work in the same area. Looking forward to hearing from you.
