In both, the antardasa of mahadasa lord comes at the end. But the exact order is different. In Ashtottari dasa, the order is basically the same, with mahadasa lord coming at the end. In Shodasottari dasa, the order is totally reversed. Study the order carefully. > > Pt Sanjay Rath did not pay attention to this earlier. In my Rasi chakra Shodashottari Dasa is applicable and I would explain three important events of my life also with this conditional dasa. I've born the 12th january 1967 11:56 am CET -1.00 Catania 37N31 15E05. The first important events of my life occurred about one month after the birth, I have had serious ill problems, a pneumonia. According tradition Shodashottari Dasa Mer/Sun while in the other case Mer/Sat. In D6 the two planets are dignified: the Sun, AK, in a kona and in Raja Sambandha with Mars, Amk; Saturn is Rajayoga karaka and in Yogada with HL in exaltation in Libra. The fast recover from the illness is probably explained better with Mer/Sun, infact if we look the Narayana Dasa of D6 in the same period we found Le/Vi, very favourable. The second important event of my life is the begin of my work for the government. In the summer 1991 while I got a temporary job for the government, I passed the examination and the 10th february 1992 I started my actually job. Shodashottari Dasa according tradition is Sun/Ven in the other case Sun/Sun. The Sun in D10 is in a kona with AmK Mars in Raja Sambandha and in Yogada with HL for his association. Venus is also dignified in Sankha, Brahma, and with two Viparita Raja Yoga and is the ruler of AL in D10 The Narayana and the Padaanathaamsa Dasa of D10 explain very well the event: Ar/Li, Mars is involved as ruler of GL in dasamsa; the tithi pravesha chakra for 1992 is very interesting: it was Monday and in Mercury Hora, Venus the ruler of the lagna in D10. The 10th house of Dasamsa in TPC has 36 benefic points with the system of calculation of Ashatakavarga from all the reference points that you have proposed recently. I have started the new job 8 days before the tithi ashottari dasa of the ruler of the Hora (1 day in the actually place). The third impotant event of my life is my marriage, the 5th march 2001. Shodashottari Dasa Sun/Mars according tradition and Sun/Ven in the other case. In Navamsa the Sun is Yogada with GL in Aries where there is Mars in Raja Sambandha. Venus is also dignified in Duradhara, Sankha, Vimala and in Rajayoga. The Narayana of D9 Li/Cn, the event occurred again during the tithi ashottari dasa of the Hora lord in TPC. I'll go on this research with some natal charts recently published in a book on Shodashottari Dasa by a disciple of Sri K.N. Rao. I'm extremely grateful to the SJC and to all the gurus for the efforts to teach the light of Jyotish worldwide. Your decision to give free your software will help many students and researchers in their studies. My blessing for you and for all the SJC gurus. Many Thanks
