Respected all,

Will you please explain which ayanamsa should be used and the logic

why that ayanamsa is better than others. I have through some old

posts, there are some conflicting views on it. Some members advised

me to use Lahiri, which I use anyway by default. But that answer does

not satisfy my quest for what is right and why? Are we not making

mistakes by choosing a incorrect ayanamsa? If there was no need Prof

Raman might not have invented another one.

I am sure many learned memebers might have gone through these

dilemmas. I would appreciate if you share your experience on this.

with respect,

Pradeep

Namaste,

I have not researched into ayanamsa much. I use Lahiri because gurus I

learned jyotish from used it and I have gotten good results with it.

SO why fix something that is not broken.

Pradeep,

Dhira krsna ji has an ayanamsa which is 47 minutes

less Lahiri.

I have tried it. I seem to like it better than Raman

and Lahiri.

But I need to work it on more charts. Please try it

and let us know how exact are your readings.
