Guest guest
Dear Narasimha PVR ji , Nameste, This is my last mail on subject.Your advice not to post about j hora on Vedic-astrology and this list is surprising. Your statement "other JHora users can help" Dear Friend how any one can help J hora since i puchased is having bug,and my earlier post went unattended. No body can bye your statement "But, if you are finding an artifical ascendant and house cusps from a seed number between 1 and 249 (97 in your example), the longitude of the ascendant found from the number is already the cusp and not the start" Your statement means you want in one module nadi system and uttar kalamrita system.Your ease of desire does not mean In KP system concepts can stand altered. To me and to any student if he examines a issue by KP the first House will start at leo 18-6-40 and shall extend upto virgo 15-25-26.99 and so on so forth. And by the way i am not KP astrologer, i am only student and works on any system i want to learn and apply. so usefulness of J hora continues. lastly" If you had just changed one option, you would've got what you were expecting" I could not understand i have tried all combinations of related options and i understand now it is better to conclude unless right options are incorporated J hora is not for KP. Thanks for your patience and efforts. Hari om tatsat RCS "pvr108" <pvr (AT) charter (DOT) net>Re: "Jagannatha Hora" KP included#4Namaste Mr Srivastava, There is a separate called "jhora" for the users of "Jagannatha Hora" software. If you post your query there, other JHora users can help. I will need to reply only if nobody else knows the answer. So it will save my time. Kindly post any future queries related to JHora software there and not here or in vedic astrology . > This time the longitude of Asc> corresponding to number itself is wrong.A serious mistake in itself.> > House Cusp Middle End Planets in it> > 1st 18 Simh 06' 43.59" 1 Kanya 44' 01.90" 15 Kanya 21' 20.22" > ..<snip>..> Please see first house can not be different from 18-06-40.for figure 97. If you had looked at the numbers closely, you would've realized that 18-06-40 was shown as the beginning of 1st house instead of being shown as the cusp (middle) of 1st house. That would've given you a clue as to what's going on. If you had just changed one option, you would've got what you were expecting! If you are finding houses in a natal chart from an actual ascendant, please select "ascendant is the start of first house" when finding houses. But, if you are finding an artifical ascendant and house cusps from a seed number between 1 and 249 (97 in your example), the longitude of the ascendant found from the number is already the cusp and not the start. So select "ascendant is the middle of first house" option in that case. If you do that, you will get 18-6-44 as the first house cusp. Like I said, there will be small deviation from the tables you are used to, because of longitude and latitude difference. But the deviation will be small. If you see a big deviation, you are using wrong settings. Guest guest
Dear Mr Srivastava, I apologize if I offended you in my last email. My suggestion to send queries, bug reports etc to jhora was meant for my convenience and not meant to complain or find fault. Some friends who volunteered to help with answering JHora questions are on that list. I see that you are not happy with the approach I suggested to find the sub-lords of house cusps associated with a number using JHora 7.0.1. As I said, I learnt KP long back (25 years back) and my knowledge is not fresh. Let me understand what exactly you are expecting from JHora. Let us use the same example you gave. Guest guest
Shree PVR The example of house division you have given is NOT KP. IT is the SHRIPATHI method of House Division. The KP uses the Placidius System of House Division. The Cusp is the begining of the House, and extends to the next Cusp. If you want I can send you a free sw for casting KP CHARTS, usung the latest accepted ayanams, to your private mail good luck --- pvr108 <pvr wrote: > > Dear Mr Srivastava, > > I apologize if I offended you in my last email. Guest guest
Dear PVR, Thanks for yr magnanimity for making yr software free to public. Regarding KP way charts, I have following suggestions, 1. Show cuspal charts. Example may be taken from the screen shots of www.system.com. This would make more sense to KP astrologers. 2. The cuspal charts should be made available both for KP-Natal or Number Horary cases. 3. You should make it possible to rotate the chart wrto any cusp, making the desired cusp as the Lagna. 4. You should tabulate the Cuspal definitions like, Sign-lord, Star-lord, Sub- lord, Sub-sub-lord which is available but may have to be formatted for proper placement. 5. You should generate planetary significations in priority. 6. In case of rotated charts, the planetary significations should change automatically. This is what a KP astrologer needs necessarily. Perhaps, what is practically required is as follows : The moment, a KP Horary number is selected (1-249), the cuspal chart should be available on left side of the screen (with the option of rotation of chart) having the Ruling planets, Cuspal breakup,Planetary signification and Consolidated Dasha details on the right half of the screenshot. If this is available, This would be more than sufficient for any KP astrologer. In case if you are able to incorporate such features, the acceptability of your package shall be many-manyfolds. The screen shots in the suggested website above shall give you somewhat better picture.
