If you can experiment with it and come with the results, it could be a new research for me and others to follow ;-), yes we can cast dasa pravesha for Vimshottari dasa and nakshatra dasas also. Parasara hora sastra has the details on Dasa pravesha for Vimshottari dasa THe option is also available in JHORA 7. Just right click on any one of the mahadasa period under consideration, and check entry chart for the same. 3) My experience of dasa pravesha is limited, as i have not used it much, but it has given good results so far. 4) Patyayani is used in Tajika, why mix it with other systems? 5) Dasa pravesha is casted for the dasa from natal point of view.
