I have a very good friend of mine who is under the same conditions facing

physical abuse in a foreign country and having to manage with a very small

child.

I am enclosing both of their birth timings.

I have not rectified her birth chart, but feel the current timings match the events in her life.

I have not verifed the events in the male's chart.

Female:

DOB:- Sept 26th 1978

TOB:- 2:40 AM

POB:- 78 E 30, 17 N 20.

Male:-

DOB:- Sept 16th 1973

TOB:- 16:55 PM

POB:- 80 E 35, 16 N 15.

In the Girl's chart UL has Sun,Mercury,Rahu in Virgo. Exalted Mercury in UL

itself shows a spouse who is a well to do person.

Also, in the Navamsa Chart, the 7th lord, Mercury is in Aquarius aspected by

Saturn by Graha drishti and Ketu by Rasi drishti.

Shastiamsa Reckoning : - The 9th house has Ketu in it and the 9th lord Jupiter

is exalted in Lagna in Rasi Chart. But in the Shastiamsa chart, although

Jupiter is in his own house he is in

Visha-dagdha (don't know what it really means :-( ) Shastiamsa and Ketu is in

Kroora Shastiamsa. She is running the Moola Dasa of Saturn who is in

Kamalaakara Shastiamsa.

Any remedies to help her will be of great help.

Dear Saikumar,

have you noticed in both charts 2nd from UL is tenanted/aspected by

malefics. Barring this aspect, it is difficult to understand physical

violence. In Male chart, Sun does occupy 7th house in strength, but

generally this indicates a dominating wife rather than other way round.

Of course Moon conjuncts mars, Saturn conjuncts Ketu in Buddhi Sthana,

so he may be having sudden bouts of uncontrolled rage. But I am a bit

puzzled as to why that should translate into physical abuse of spouse

as in the female's chart Jupiter aspects 7th house and in Navamsha too

Moon tenanting 7th receives aspect of Jupiter. No doubt Mars aspects

7th, but receiving aspect of an exalted Jupiter should control the

situation. I would say that situation is brought on more by transit

Saturn, and 12th and 3rd Lord Mercury's dasha. Did the problems begin

when Saturn was in last degrees of Mithuna in its transit of that Rasi

prior to its entry to cancer? Did they get worse after its retrograde

entry to Mithuna around 13th again? I would say check up whether she is

wearing any Gems of functional malefics.

By the way, are the quarels related to physical incompatibility?

Especially on the Male's part.

Let me clarify some things as I understand from your reading.

have you noticed in both charts 2nd from UL is tenanted/aspected by malefics.

--> I was provided both the charts before marriage( around Jan 2003), and with

my limited knowledge then that I learnt on this forum, I advised not to go for

the match based on the same criteria. But as people say, Marriages are made in

Heaven and Celebrated on Earth, the marriage did happen.

I would say that situation is brought on more by transit Saturn, and 12th and

3rd Lord Mercury's dasha -- I wish it is because of transit. Since she just

started the Mahadasa of Mercury which is going to last for 17 years. I don't

think anyone can take that level of pain for so long. The marriage itself

happened when she started Sade-Sathi and it never went right, from day one.

Did the problems begin when Saturn was in last degrees of Mithuna in its transit

of that Rasi prior to its entry to cancer? Did they get worse after its

retrograde entry to Mithuna around 13th again? --> I would say from what I

heard from her, that they have worsened in the last few months i.e the abuse

turning from a verbal one to physical one. But I cannot believe that since the

physical abuse has started it would end with Saturn entering into Cancer again.

I would say check up whether she is wearing any Gems of functional malefics -->

As far as I know, she does not wear any Gems at all. Anyhow I would double

check with her (unfortunately most of the conversation with her is over phone

as she lives in a different city). Also, I was reading the thread on Vasudhaji,

the similarity is that the Lagna lord is in 12th house in both cases.

By the way, are the quarels related to physical incompatibility? Especially on

the Male's part. --> I am not sure about this one, because the Male is on a

travelling job, so, he comes home once in 2 weeks for the weekend( may be that

is one way that her life is being saved). The only time he took her alongwith

him was last month to a place where her sister lives and left at her there

after a big fight and almost choking her to death.Later on he changed his mind

and asked her to return to their home.

As a sidenote, I tried correcting the male's birth chart (Thanks to Narasimha's

generous gift of JHL 7.0 and the MP3 classes) based on the marriage date, and

it made more sense for me with a Capricorn navamsa Lagna rather than the

current Sagittarius Lagna. Also, with a Capricorn lagna with Saturn/Venus/Ketu

in Lagna and Rahu in the 7th house of Moon, his weird behaviour in the matters

of Dharma(Marital life) are explained better.

On an non-astrological front we have advised her to come stay with us, and she

is not prepared to do so, as she is likely to get her permanent residence

status very soon. She might loose the whole thing, if she initiates the

separation process and that is holding her from taking any legal action right

away.

Any remedies would be of great help.
