She is 29 and still unmarried..she is attractive and has refused all proposals thus far - furthermore she quit her highly paying job few months ago without a plan B in her head...yes just like that folks!! coz she was getting bored and tired ...incidentally she was a high performer in office. Being her childhood friend and well wisher..i am worried SICK about her and her parents too, who worry about her incessantly...justifiably so !!! Well, I wonder too when good sense will prevail over her !!! Following are her birth chart details :- (a)ASCENDANT - Taurus with venus and ketu (retrogade) in it (b)2nd house - Gemini with Saturn and moon in it ©7th house - Scorpio with Rahu (retrograde) in it (d)10th house - aquarius with mars in it (e)11th house - Pisces with Jupiter in it (f)12th house - Aries with Sun and mercury in it Sun is exhalted and mercury is combust right now jupiter mahadasha with moon subperiod goin on As a person with a reasonable interest in astrology - i see that she has quite a few 'good' yogas (correct me if i am wrong) - (a) venus in ascendant taurus - 1 of the pancha mahapurush yogas (b) gajakesari yoga - jupiter in 10th house from moon © a raj yoga with sun and mercury (sun being lord of 4th kendra and mercury lord of 5th kona house) (d) a raj yoga involving saturn only(saturn being lord of 9th kona house and 10th kendra house) (e) possibly a weak budhaaditya due to combust mercury ?? (f) possibly yogas such as Ubhayachari Yoga, vipareeta raj yoga ? and 1 bad yoga that meets the eye - Papakartari yoga ? - 1st house hemmed by malefic saturn in 2nd house and malefic sun in 12th ? My questions addressed to all the Dear knowledgable folks in this forum :- (a)her erratic behaviour - is it due to her moon being in conjunction with saturn ? Despite all the good yogas mentioned above ? (b) will she ever get married ? and if yes when ?? I notice that she has rahu in the 7th house which i read somewhere delays or creates problem in marriage. Also sadhe sati for her mithun raasi going on .. Something very peculiar in her chart is that in almost all the charts rahu/ketu are in 7/1 axis. Rahu is the AK and placed in 7th house precisely means deep karmic relations and choice with regards to marriage. Also look at Darakaraka Merc, it is severely combusted and is in rashi sandhi. Also in navamsa mercury is the 7th lord and is placed in 2nd house which is not good for marriage. Conjuntion of Venus and Ketu in rashi and shani and ketu in navamsa doesnt augur well for marriage although not forming a typical tapaswi yoga. Her 7th lord ketu and 7th from venus is ketu and both conjunct in lagna doesnt support the objectives of 7th house. Also mars in placed in saturns house hence not favourable. Also UL is in 8th house and UL lord Jupiter is with A8. Hence not very favourable. To conclude i would say there is nothing on physical plane thats stopping her from marriage, however since rahu is AK placed in 7th house she might prefer not to get married cause of karmic relations. It is inexplicable as you have titled in the mail. I would request other members to correct me if i am wrong. However dasa period is favourable for marriage / romance, infact i wont be surprised if she had a major relationship during 2001-2004. Please could you elaborate on 'deep karmic relations' . What does it mean ? She is close to a guy (whom she knows for the last 7.5 years)..but just got close to him in 2004 (not before)...but again i don't think the nature of the relationship is romantic (but i could be wrong). Does she have marriage in store for her at all? Maybe Bharatji and /or other esteemed members of this forum can throw some light !! Also, my interest in astrology prompts me to ask what is the effect of a saturn - moon conjunction as seen in her birth chart. Seventh house: The 7th house is Scorpio, which is a Fixed Rasi and is occupied by malefic Rahu. The 7th also receives a benefic aspect from Lagna Lord and Kalatrakaraka Venus from the lagna. Venus's aspect is positive but the presence of Rahu definitely afflicts the seventh house to an extent. Seventh Lord: Seventh Lord is Mars posited in the 10th house Aquarius again a Fixed Rasi with dispositor as Saturn. I have a slightly different view on this from Bharat.Although Mars is in an Enemy sign, the sign lord Saturn is located in a trine from Mars and hence is a temporal friend. Also Saturn in this case is the lord of 10th and 9th making him a Yogakarak. In addition to the above, the 7th lord Mars is located in a Kendra to Lagna, Lagnadhipati and kalatrakaraka Venus and also the 7th house. Seventh Lord Mars doesn't receive any aspects good or bad Mars is blemished to the extent that he has ownership of the 12th house of losses. In the Navamsa, Mars is exalted in Capricorn and the lord of 9th and 2nd houses. I would conclude that the seventh lord is quite fortified and well placed. Kalatrakaraka: Venus is in swakshetra/lagna afflicted by malefic Ketu and is aspected by the 7th lord Mars. He is also subjected to slight papakartari yoga, but note that in this case Sun is exalted and both Sun and Mercury are vargottama (Being in Aries in Rasi and Navamsa) and Saturn as I mentioned above is Yogakaraka. In addition Sun has lost its malefic effects to an extent due to being a kendradipati (4rth house lord) . To conclude Venus though strong is subjected to malefic influences. Considered from the Moon, the 7th house, Saggitarius a Common Sign is aspected by Saturn and the 7th lord Jupiter is in 10th also aspected by Saturn, which is a malefic considered from the moon as lagna. From the moon both 7th house and the 7th lord is afflicted. Lagna in this case being the stronger bhava than the one in which the moon is in(2nd house), I would state that since the seventh house,seventh lord and kalatrakaraka are all in fixed rasis and the seventh Lord being strong ,there are no reinforced indications to conclude that the native will remain unmarried. She should have a stable marriage although with some problems in married life due to the affliction of Venus by Ketu and the 7th house and 7th lord from Moon and the 7th in Navamsa being influenced by Saturn. I consider myself just a student of the vast and exciting field of astrology and respect the fact that many people here know better than me. Lagna in this case being the stronger bhava than the one in which the moon is in(2nd house), I would state that since the seventh house,seventh lord and kalatrakaraka are all in fixed rasis and the seventh Lord being strong ,there are no reinforced indications to conclude that the native will remain unmarried. She should have a stable marriage although with some problems in married life due to the affliction of Venus by Ketu and the 7th house and 7th lord from Moon and the 7th in Navamsa being influenced by Saturn. See 7th lord in inimical house, Rahu afflicting 7th house and 8th lord aspecting 7th house. Nothing seems to be good, prima-facie. Besides, she is temperamental or a little whimsical too. See Ketu in Lagna and Mars afflicting lagna. However, she is good qualitywise. A problematic marriage or a sickly / suffering husband may be foreseen. However, sacramental marriage too will be there. In chara dasa, Pisces is running which shows gaining respect / status in profession. Job is not a problem. She will get a very good job between Apr 2005 - Apr 2006. Best possibilities of marriage are between Apr 2007 - Apr 2008. She has an extremely good Rajayoga which will fructify somewhere abroad or at least away from her place. Sat dasa will be good for this. Now for my research tell me : Does she have good height specially when seen in context of Parent's height ? I have one question for you - her birth chart with taurus lagna means that saturn is yogakaraka..but isn't saturn also badhakesh for her ?? However 7th house in rashi is having a debilitated sun and 7th lord is in 8th house also second from UL is aspected by saturn / ketu and occupied by rahu. hence that makes me ask you for your horoscope cause there is some afflictions to 2nd from UL.
